This experience definitely changed my life for the better. I became more aware of another cultures characteristics and learned to open myself up to people who made my trip something I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Alejandra Limon, California State University- Long Beach
Before I went abroad, I had a lot of trouble deciding which program to choose. I could not be happier that I went abroad with ISA. The connections I have made with my host mom and the friends I met through the program will hopefully last a lifetime. Every day is a new adventure, and every conversation teaches me something new. If you are still having doubts about study abroad, stop! It is the best decision I have ever made!
Kathleen Elliot, University of Massachusetts- Boston
Buenos Aires, an unexpected choice to most people, but the best one you'll ever make. I learned so much about myself and and the world around me in my past five months here. The Argentine people are so welcoming and kind and I feel so fortunate that I was able to experience them and their culture.
Makenzie Pigman, American River College
The ISA in Buenos Aires program provides just the right mixture of immersion, adventure, and security for an unforgettable and truly Argentine experience
Roman Druzdel, University of Pittsburgh
A short term program is ideal for someone who desires to study abroad, but doesn't want to make a long term commitment. Studying abroad can still be a rich, worthwhile experience--even if it is only four weeks time.
Sarah Roark, University of Utah
My choice to study abroad through ISA was one of the best decisions I have ever made! My time in Australia was lifechanging! The fabulous support I received from the ISA staff was a huge factor. The ISA sponsored trips were exceptional! I would highly recommend ISA to anyone looking for a study abroad opportunity!
Alexandra McDaniel, University of Memphis
Sometimes the best way to grow is to live outside your comfort zone.
Gina Skiris, Elmhurst College
I really loved the location of QUT. It is set in the middle of the city, but being by the botanical gardens gave it an air that one might think they weren't in middle of a city with 1+ million people. The architecture of the campus was beautiful and technology was top-notch. I'd recommend QUT to other engineering students as the courses were comparable in difficulty to those at my home university.
K. Davis, Kansas State University
Brisbane is a perfect city for a student and a tourist. There is so much to see and do, and it is so easy to get around.
L. Hetland, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
I enjoyed the size of Cairns - it wasn't too big, but it wasn't really small either. The beach was nearby, but the campus was surrounded by hills and mountains, which made for great scenery.
N. Miller, Ohio State University
Studying abroad for me was filled with experiences that allowed me to become a more self aware and confident person. My study abroad experience has only furthered my love of travel, and I will always cherish my time in Australia.
T. Koslo, The College of New Jersey
There is nothing more fulfilling than going somewhere halfway across the world and never wanting to leave. My experience in Australia taught me many things, and everything I learned was from living the culture. Studying abroad was the most significant learning in my 15 years of education.
Andrea Zarybnicky, University of Nebraska, Lincoln
Studying abroad was the experience of a lifetime. I got to do so many things I never would have been able to do. It was amazing to meet like minded people who also wanted to explore a culture and take park in adventures while abroad. I recommend studying abroad to everyone! Be open to trying new things and make the most of everywhere you go, there are always fun things to do! And don't be afraid to try new things!
Brandi Vollmer, Rockhurst University
Don't be scared to go abroad not knowing anyone on the trip. Take chances and meet new people. For me it was breaking out of comfort zone, forcing me to talk to new people and making new friends. I can honestly say that this trip has helped me more than one way with that. I have learned more about myself and other people.
Caryn Eisert, Western Kentucky University
My ISA trip was a once in a lifetime trip. Not only was I able to travel to a country which I have anyways wanted to go to, but I also came home with memories and friends that will last a lifetime.
Kevin Gosman, University of Georgia
Studying abroad was an amazing experience that I wouldn't trade for the world. Finding my program through ISA made the experience simple and easy and all of my questions were answered whenever I had them. I had never been out of the country before, so spending 3 weeks in Australian learning about the Australian Sporting Industry and culture was a perfect start for me. I gained independence and learned how to travel on my own but still with someone to help guide me if I needed it. I had an amazing time and the people I met and the places I saw will be memories I will never forget!
Marissa Frangione, University of West Florida
ISA, I noticed, really cares about each individual student's well being. Y'all have definitely stood out in a positive way compared to other study abroad programs that have also come to Bond Uni. I noticed that other students were not fortunate enough to have a Bridging Cultures Program. I thought this was an amazing idea because I was not only able to become familiar with the culture, but befriend countless students just like me from across the states. The past two months at Bond, our ISA group has kept in constant contact with each other. We refer to each other as our "ISA family", allowing us to depend on the group when we are stressed, homesick, etc. Everyone on the staff of ISA is amazing! Y'all are patient, informative, encouraging, the list goes on and on!! Deciding to go through ISA for my study abroad program was one of the best decisions I have ever made!
A. Shuman, Texas Tech University
Studying abroad is a wonderful reminder that the world is much bigger and much smaller than you think. It's a paradox that makes imperfectly perfect sense and I feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to begin to understand it.
Jennifer Steel, Furman University
Gold Coast, Australia offers so much adventure with a great education. I was immersed into Australian-dominate classrooms and had the chance to view Communication from such a novel perspective. My greatest gift from studying abroad, however, were the 3 best friends that I gained. Hailing from all over the world we created a bond that I will never forget. From water fall hikes to beach bbqs, they became my family!
L. Dolan, University of Colorado - Boulder
There aren't many times in life when you can go anywhere in the world for five months. Before you have to enter the real world and get a big kid job, studying abroad gives you the freedom to simply experience life, without worry for the future, just living in the moment.
Elaina Wahl, Miami University of Ohio
This place is so amazing, and I have learned so much about myself and photography. I will take back countless memories and a love for the Australian outback. Tomorrow is our exhibition at the Art Vault Gallery and I could not be more thrilled. Finally, a real piece of my artwork will be hanging in a REAL gallery...in AUSTRALIA! I am so excited.
Alexis Petelos, University of Alabama
Being abroad has helped me become more independent and confident in myself. Studying abroad is a life changing decision, for you will gain a whole new perspective of the world and where you live. My advice to you is to make sure you go out to places and explore, do not stay inside all day. Studying abroad may seem expensive but it is an opportunity that is once in a lifetime... Don't be afraid to try new things and have an open mind. If you expect things to be different and accept it before you depart it will make your life abroad 10 times easier. Say yes to adventure and study abroad, for you will receive a chance to gain independence, confidence, friends, and to experience things that are unavailable to you in your home country
Alexis Pettaway, Elizabethtown College
Melbourne takes some getting used to. For the first couple weeks, you will feel totally lost and the public transportation system will be tricky. But after that, everything starts making sense, and it actually gets a lot smaller than you think it is. It ended up feeling like home to me, and I will definitely be coming back here after I graduate. Don't waste time, either. Jump right into everything and take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves. Go on road trips, travel all over, and be open minded about things because it's a totally different way of life in Melbourne. Learn to appreciate the laneways, street performers, and the locals' serious obsession with coffee! This city is amazing and I guarantee you will fall in love with it!
Cara Lee, University of South Carolina
Just an incredible experience, hard to put into words without writing a 20,000 page paper.
David Jeznach, University of Massachusetts, Amherst
To grow as a person and evaluate the different perspectives of others in a new way. Looking not only as myself personally but my culture, understanding and other parts of my life I had not seen the way I see them now.
Kaitlyn Koener, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
Continue to wander. You never know what incredible experience will become of it.
Madeline Anderson, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee
There are no words for how perfect my experience was! I fell in love with the Australian lifestyle and made a ton of amazing friends, who still keep in touch with to this day. La Trobe was a perfect Uni to study abroad for many reasons. It was mostly all Australians, so I really got to learn about their culture and get the full "Aussie experience", it's a huge campus and everything you need is right there including stores, a hair salon, restaurants, bars etc. If I had the choice I'd go back today!
Olivia Wicik, Long Island University at Post
I have learned that I can do things on my own and that in the past I have let people talk me out of things, but now I am listening to my own voice because my own voice is what took me to Australia.
Shelby Mulverhill, University of Colorado, Denver
ISA helped me prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. Australia will forever hold a permanent stamp on my heart because I have grown and changed in ways that I will remember forever. The experiences I had are unbelievable and I feel like I created a new life here. I now know that I am ready, confident, and excited for the next journey that this life has waiting for me.
Alexandra Kerlin, Northern Michigan University
Expect the unexpected. That's the best advice I can give anyone who's studying abroad. Sometimes when unplanned things happen and you're forced to adapt to a new environment, just stay positive. From any situation, you'll grow and eventually learn from it. ISA has been a great help throughout my journey abroad and I am so glad to have gone with them. One of my roommates didn't go with an agency and missed out on some great friends and excursions.
Lotus Thai, Chapman University
Studying abroad was the best decision I've made thus far in my life. I had so many amazing experiences and gained so many friends that I will never forget...Even though I only spent 5 months there, I feel like it had an incredible influence on my mindset and view of life. I learned so much about myself. I would highly recommend studying abroad to everyone.
Morgan Schilz, University of Wisconsin, La Crosse
Studying abroad is easily the best decision I've ever made, and I feel very confident in both the country I chose to study in, as well as the program I chose to go with. I am not who I was when I first got here, and I never want to leave.
Olivia Shove, Chapman University
If students have the opportunity to study abroad, they should definitely take advantage of it. Studying abroad was a life changing experience, and I have no regrets. I grew as a person, become more culturally knowledgeable, made incredible relationships with awesome people, and made lifetime memories that I can tell my kid's kids one day.
Taylor Gerstenfield, Bloomsburg University
Going abroad is honestly the most worthwhile experience of my life. I've found so many wonderful people and wonderful friends; I really can't imagine my life if I didn't go abroad.
E. Schumacher, University of San Diego
This was a fantastic way to apply the concepts and skills you learn in class, and even further, in a completely new environment. Having global work experience allowed me to grow much more than just being at home. I was forced to assimilate and push myself with my work.
Studying abroad was beyond travelling to another country for me, I was able to finally accept my flaws and love myself for who I am. Experiencing what life has to offer in Australia helped me grow as a person and appreciate how other cultures live. It was an overall amazing experience. I am sad to see it end but I'm excited to see what my next adventure is.
Kristine Chan Deloso, Portland State University
Studying abroad has proved to be one of the most valuable and rewarding experiences I've had. I learned so much about myself not only from being independent in a different country, but also because of the people and opportunities I had a chance to immerse myself in. I would do it all over again a million times if I could!
Austyn Thalmann, University of San Diego
ISA gave me opportunities that I would not have gained if I independently went abroad. I made friends that I will keep forever. It also gives you insight to the area and people so you are not completely alone on this experience. ISA is the real MVP.
ISA Townsville Participant, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities
I had a field trip to Orpheus Island for my Coral Reef Ecology course and we went snorkeling twice a day for four days. I saw so many amazing creatures in the ocean during that trip, along with a Giant Clam over a meter long!
N. Wetzel, Eckerd College
To anyone who is thinking of possibly studying abroad, do it. Don't hesitate. You will learn more about yourself than any normal university can teach. It is an opportunity to see amazing new places, meet the best friends of your life and if you have time left maybe even learn something in class. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Zachary Topor, University of Maine
I don't think I would've met as many Australians willing to be my friends if I had gone somewhere else. Wollongong is just a really laid back, friendly place and it was really cool to mix in with the locals.
Agigail Wilson, Miami University of Ohio
Studying abroad with ISA allowed me to have a group of familiar faces going into a new country. This allowed me to be more comfortable and meet as many locals as possible. ISA helped make my semester abroad smooth and successful.
Haley Stafford, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
It was amazing, words cannot describe my experience in Wollongong. I would recommend it to anyone interested in studying in Australia. It's the 'typical Australian' town with an atmosphere that is right for everyone.
Jennah Kassem, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
Belgium is truly the center of Europe. From the food to the people, every single day can be an adventure. This place is not only for career oriented students, it is also a home to relaxed locals and a plethora of party animals. Whether you spend every weekend in a new European country or take the days to explore Brussels, you will not be disappointed. This experience has opened my eyes to new places, cultures, and most importantly new people that I will never forget.
Charlie Schmidt, University of Denver
Studying abroad in Belgium was the best thing that ever happened to me. Learning how to integrate myself into a foreign culture will serve me well in my future career field, and I would not trade the experiences that I gained here in Europe for anything.
Erika Ose, Middle Tennessee State University
If you've ever considered studying abroad or if you're even a little bit adventurous, sign up for an ISA program! Studying abroad is such a unique experience. You'll get to know the world around you, meet new people and become more confident and competent while having the time of your life. What's not to love? I am so thankful I chose ISA! I can't imagine studying abroad without their support and guidance.
Sarah Hartley, University of Tulsa
Studying in Brussels through ISA was one of the best decisions of my college career as well as my life. Its central location, international significance, and quirks make Brussels an exciting city to spend four months. The ISA program's staff as well as the college's focus on offering relevant internships to students were also highlights. If you have an interest in experiencing a European city without tons of tourists, but lots of unconventional charm?consider Brussels!?
Savannah Lee, Point Loma Nazarene University
My experience abroad changed my entire perspective of our world. I found new passions, friends, goals, adventures, and challenges. I have matured as person and have been to places I never thought imaginable. To future students planning to study abroad, DO IT. There is nothing more rewarding.
Thomas Schorr, University of Tulsa
My time with ISA in Florianopolis was one of the best summers I've ever had. My professors were all really friendly and genuinely want to help you learn, the on-site staff is more than willing to help you if anything goes wrong, and Florianopolis is one of the most amazing places I've ever been. I definitely feel like there's something for everyone here.
Luciane DeAlmeida, Western Washington University
Studying abroad in Brasil rocked my world. I've never fallen so much in love with something in my entire life (the country, the people, everything really). I am going back after graduation for a few months and I am already looking for research positions down there. I talk to my Brazilian friends everyday and miss them incredibly much. I miss our group too, cause our group was awesome. I can't explain it with words. Brasil broke my heart and built it back in the most beautiful way.
Michael Tellman, Creighton University
In two months, what was once a foreign country became my home. Studying abroad has changed my life tremendously. I've learned so much about myself and Brazil's culture. I can say that I have met people from all over the worlds that have a special place in my heart. From the small conversations with strangers on the bus, to the adventurous activities, this has been the best experience I could have asked for.
Vanessa Diaz, University of California- San Diego
Studying abroad in Chile has been the single most important experience I have had so far in my life. I have improved my Spanish, met some awesome friends, become more independent, and feel as though I returned to the U.S. a better person.
Jenna Hacker, Northern Illinois University
If I learned anything while abroad, it is that the capacity of human beings for kindness and patience is remarkable. I could ask a complete stranger for help, and he or she would take the time to point out or explain to me what I needed to know. I lost my fear of speaking so fast because I knew that, no matter how funny or confused I sounded, the people I met were more interested in helping than laughing (though there have been some laughs, but laughter is one of the best parts of making mistakes. That's something else I learned.)
Kari Bray, Washington State University
My summer abroad has been a life-changing summer. Being with ISA in Chile I have gotten to experience a different culture first-hand, and also got to experience a part of Chile's history. I don't think I would have ever had these experiences if I had not chosen ISA. I would recommend them to everyone!
Kassandra Baumgardner, University of Alabama, Birmingham
Everything about my experience with the ISA program has been incredible-- more than I could have hoped for. They set me up with an amazing family and a great school which helped me to feel comfortable in this new environment. From there I was able to go off and live my life in Chile, getting to know the culture and its people on a deeper level. My abroad experience has been everything and more than I ever imagined it to be.
Redyn Keller, University of Maine
My time in Chile was like a rollercoaster ride, but wow, was it worth it. I learned so much not only about Spanish and the Latin American culture, but also about myself. I am definitely not the same person I was when I got here. Its true what they say, another culture isn´t necessarily better or worse than your own, its different, learn to appreciate the differences. Thank you ISA Chile for a great semester.
Shaina Gleisner, Messiah College
Chengdu is the best, and ISA helps you to explore the culture side of the city and region.
Bulmaro Espericueta, DePauw University
Be open to meeting new people, speaking a new language, eating new food, and traveling to new places.
Nicole Springer, Iowa State University
Chengdu is probably the best place to experience the Chinese language and culture while studying in China. The atmosphere is very relaxed, people are very welcoming, and the Chinese language program is very successful.
Samuel Read, Northwest Nazarene University
ISA will show you the way and make your stay memorable! Wo ai ISA!
Amanda Ju, Christopher Newport University
Even a one semester study abroad experience will give you a global perspective that can be worth more than a college degree if you use that perspective to change your life.
Christopher Barenz, Western Illinois University
ISA provided me with the opportunity to travel outside of the United States for the first time. I think everyone should have the opportunity to study abroad so that you can learn and live within a new culture. Having studied Mandarin before I went to China really allowed me to enjoy my time and appreciate the opportunity to practice my Chinese with just about everyone I came in contact with. Lastly, ISA Shanghai allowed me to meet so many new people many of which I believe will be friends for a long time.
Joseph Cooke, West Chester University
Five months into my exchange I would still randomly stop while walking with a friend and say "I AM IN CHINA!" Thrilling, enriching and fulfilling experience. I fell in love with the language, the people and the culture; I fell in love with China and ISA is who made this possible.
Leslie Martinez, Texas A&M International University
Studying in Shanghai, China was the best experience of my life. From goose feet to the Forbidden City the culture of China gave me a new perspective on how people live half a world away. At first Mandarin seems like an impossible challenge, but by the end of the trip I believe it is a manageable task. ISA prepared me well for the experience; our director was welcoming and professional throughout the duration of the program and the entire semester was worry free. Studying abroad is an incredible experience that should be considered by everyone.
Philip Wharton, Texas State University - San Marcos
ISA allowed me to have experiences I never would have had at my home university. I never would have thought I would have enjoyed studying abroad as much as I did, but it ended up being one of the greatest experiences I have ever had.
Ryan Schwing, Texas A&M University
It has been a wonderful experience not many get to have. It really challenges you as an individually; socially, mentally, and physically.
Silvana Almonacid, Rider University
Colombia is a wonderful country to choose if you don't want to be sheltered from the realities of the world; it opens your eyes to both the beauty and problems that the individual and countries of this world confront! It is a perfect option for someone seeking an adventure off the beaten path. You will learn so much personally and academically here! I highly recommend it!
Joseph Stanford, Mercer University
My semester in Barranquilla, Colombia, has been the most unforgettable experience throughout my college career. The culture, the people, and the experiences I am taking home have forever impacted my life and my future. I highly suggest incoming students to highly consider the Barranquilla spring semester program because of the Carnavales Barranquilla offers and the continuous support from locals. [Students should] be to be prepared to want to stay for a year because in Colombia they say say "El unico riesgo es que te quieras quedar" (The only risk is wanting to stay)."
Kayla Pollard, Grand Valley State University
Studying aboard in Colombia with ISA has forever changed my life and I am eternally grateful.
Lauren Villanova, Keene State College
Squeezing onto overflowing buses, dancing anywhere and everywhere, eating mountains of rice daily, the welcoming smiles on the faces of locals, sweating so much my clothes are drenched, the sound of vellenato piercing my eardrums, and trying to keep up with the incredibly fast Spanish of the Colombian coast have all become so terrifyingly familiar. I am accustomed to life here and I love it! Barranquilla, Colombia will forever have a special place in my heart!
Rain Johnson, Northern Michigan University
Barranquilla, Colombia was probably the best choice I could have made. They call it "calor humano" here and it can be felt at every corner of the city. The culture is vibrant everywhere you go.
Riti Patel, Loyola University Chicago
My ISA experience in Costa Rica changed my life! I was challenged in so many ways and learned so much about myself. Studying abroad is a must for anyone who wants to expand their horizons, meet amazing people, and see the world with a global perspective.
Callie Muri, Western Washington University
Costa Rica is a country with stunning natural beauty of all genres and one that provides the means to be able to see these places. I'm coming back for sure.
David Boyd, North Carolina State University
Studying abroad not only helps you become submersed in a new culture, but it helps you learn more about yourself and life, broadening your horizons and opening your mind to endless possibilities
Kristin White, California Lutheran University
ISA staff was very helpful and available. It is great that ISA helps students with accommodations, and even better that they give them the option to do certain things by themselves. ISA respects your independence as well as they try to help with everything they can.
Leslie Landin, University of Texas, El Paso
My travel abroad experience was everything I hoped it would be, plus so much more. I practiced and improved my Spanish an extraordinary amount, I met new people, and made friends and connections from all over the world. I also grew close with my host family, experienced the culture, and learned a lot about myself. It was an extremely positive experience.
Teagan Papke, University of Northern Colorado
ISA provided me with an opportunity to learn Spanish in the best environment possible at an affordable cost. Their numerous online resources and friendly staff on-site and off helped to maximize my overall satisfaction with my study-abroad experience as well! By immersing myself in the Costa Rican culture, I not only developed better Spanish-speaking skills, but also gained a better understanding of how to navigate global culture. Pura Vida!
Amie Lemley, University of Alabama Birmingham
ISA is a great program to study abroad with. From beginning to end, there was always someone I could speak to and have any questions I had answered. The staff is friendly and patient. The office abroad was well organized and easy to access. The trip was incredible and I recommend ISA to anyone who wishes to study abroad. Pura Vida!
Andrea Rizkallah, Towson University
My experience abroad in Costa Rica was life changing. There is nothing that could replace the memories made and knowledge obtained. What makes this program so wonderful is being surrounded constantly by positive influences that allow you to create yourself in new ways: a wonderful host family to teach you, ISA to guide you when lost, exploring the beauties of surrounding cities, and the culture as a whole will provide you with an unforgettable experience.
Ashley Westgate, Mercyhurst College
Students should come with an open mind, be ready to integrate with the locals and also be comfortable with some of the changes they could experience coming from another culture. It is an experience you will never forget. Life changing!
Bernard Akem, Northern Illinois University
Great experience and opportunity for personal growth. Thank you!
Karla Ippolito, Arizona State University
ISA provided me with an exceptional study abroad experience. I could tell that the staff loved their jobs; they were literally always smiling. They were very accommodating, answered all my questions, and offered great suggestions too. They helped me make the most of my time away yet managed to make me feel right at home.
Colby Bjornsen, University of Denver
If you are looking for an experience of a lifetime to grow, learn, travel, and truly immerse yourself, then this program is truly your perfect fit and nothing short of amazing.
Divya Reddy, University of Colorado - Boulder
I learned and experienced things that were only possible once you leave your comfort zone, and I wouldn't change one thing about my time abroad.
Greer Dellinger, University of Oregon
This experience has been amazing! I came here thinking Im just going to be a visitor for a few months and now Prague feels more like home that I ever imagined it could. I wish I was just going back to the States for a visit now and then coming back here to continue to study rather than going back to the States and back to my school there.
Katie Stefano, Virginia Wesleyan College
Studying abroad, especially with ISA, allows students to become more independent and worldly. It gives students the freedom to explore different cultures without enforcing restrictions on experiences that are available. I really feel that I have gotten the most authentic understanding of what life is like, living an Eastern European culture.
Lindsey Peecher, University of Missouri, Columbia
If you're on the fence about doing it: do it. It has changed my life irreparably for the better. I cannot think of what this semester would be like if I had stayed at my home institution. It is an experience that cannot be explained, it just needs to be lived.
Matthew DePue, Texas State University - San Marcos
Prague is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to, and I would go again in a heartbeat. There was a special kind of experience that students could have with our professors and ISA advisors that is so different from the US, and I'll never forget it. My advice to future students is to really explore this city. Many people come here because it's in the middle of Europe and therefore easy to travel to other countries, but Prague has its own beauty and history to offer. If you explore and familiarize yourself with the city, you'll fall in love with it too.
Natasha McLain, Arizona State University
Studying abroad is an amazing opportunity to experience a different culture than your own. Take the time to explore the city you're living in; talk to locals and try to wander from the beaten path. Try not to worry about money because its really about gaining experiences.
Norah Herzog, University of Denver
If you're going to study abroad (which you most definitely should), ISA is the way to go! They are so helpful throughout the planning process and the on-site staff are so helpful and plan fun excursions and activities to make sure you get the most out of your abroad experience. Other programs don't offer you that!
Rachel Atkinson, University of Kentucky
Prague was the best city in so many ways. Cheap, fun, affordable, and easy on the eyes.
Taylor Craven, University of Colorado - Boulder
Everything I've done in Dominican Republic has helped me grow as a person. The ISA staff has done everything to make sure I do well in school, I learn the language to the best of my ability, and, most importantly, I have fun. Honestly, the worst part about it all is leaving.
Ashley Tarr, St. John's University
I came to the Dominican Republic not knowing a thing about it, its history, its culture, or its people. From the moment I stepped off the plane, I fell in love! Yes, it was difficult at times because my Spanish isn't perfect, but that was simply part of the experience and helped me grow as a person. After my time here, I can't imagine never coming back! I'm looking into bringing my pharmaceutical knowledge here for good.
Breann Zerby, Ohio Northern University
I feel like the experience that I received through ISA is something that I could never have done myself. With ISA I was given the opportunity to not only study, but meet all kinds of people from all kinds of backgrounds, meet american friends and go on bucket list excursions.
Melvin Fatimehin, Kansas State University
Best experience of my life. I would study abroad in the Dominican Republic for another year if I could. I met so many new people, made so many new friends and gained a whole other family and just for that I wouldn't trade this experience for the world.
Nea Muller, Western Washington University
My experiences in La Republica Dominicana were challenging, spontaneous, and life changing. I had a wonderful time living with my host family, making friends with locals, and spending time with my ISA fellow students. I have completely fallen in love with this country! The music, the food, and the people are a part of who I am now. I can't imagine going back to the U.S. where I won't hear merengue music on every corner with spanish weaving itself through the streets. I am not ready to go back to the U.S. but I don't know if I ever will be. La Republica Dominicana will always be in my heart and I am already planning on visiting my host family next summer. I am so thankful for this opporuntiy to test my independence, learn about another culture, and dance merengue & bachata every night!
Sarah Potucek, Carroll College
ISA is a great program provider. I chose them for both a summer in Barcelona and a fall in England. It was one of the best decisions I've made. I am very likely to recommend them to friends, family, and other future abroad. By going through them my study abroad experience was enhanced in more ways than I could have ever imagined. They organized my classes, housing, cultural excursions, and so much more. Additionally the staff members on and off site have always been helpful, kind, and caring. I have always felt comfortable and safe while being away from home, abroad in another foreign country.
Kate Story, University of Tampa
ISA helped to make my study abroad experience a very smooth transition. Not only were they there to offer support and direction, but they helped me to make the most of my time abroad. The staff is so friendly and invested in making sure you have all the information you need to be a part of the culture. I would strongly recommend ISA to anyone going abroad. Many of my friends who did not go abroad with ISA wished they had.
Melanie Lehnhardt, Arizona State University
ISA was the right choice for me and my study abroad goals. For those interested in gaining an intimate insight of their place of study, ISA provides the resources and experience necessary for this fulfillment. I have grown and learned so much beyond London. I have learned skills and attitudes that will translate to home in the United States and wherever else I may journey in my lifetime. An incredible journey and experience, I can't imagine going without it.
Paul Faria, Fitchburg State College
London is the best city in the world for education, because there are samples of every culture, every people, every religion, every story there. If you want to become a global citizen, go to London.
Sean Kane, Rockhurst University
I came to England expecting all British classmates, but I soon learned how diverse London is and I have gained a new respect for other cultures. My classes consist of individuals from all over the world and I enjoy getting to know my fellow students and learning about where they come from. There's also always something to do in London, I really think it is the perfect study abroad destination.
Tommie Clark, Iowa State University
While the journey was filled with its ups and downs, I had an amazing time in Reading. ISA staff did a great job of helping me navigate a brand new country, and I have made friends here who I will always remember. I have learned so much, and I now have a wonderful addition to my resume. Studying abroad is a wonderful choice to make!
Caleb Noel, University of Colorado- Colorado Springs
Studying abroad changed me. It seems scary going some place you wont know anyone, but it was the greatest decision I ever made. Leave any doubt or fear behind and just do it!
Elysa Binger, University of South Dakota
Just go, there will always be things you are going to miss when you leave but the opportunities you gain from studying abroad are a once in a lifetime experience. They say that "traveling is the only thing you buy that makes you richer" and it is true. You gain more knowledge and experience from traveling then from any book you read or any movie you see. Studying abroad makes you see the world in a whole different way. It makes you realize that no mater how big the world is we are all connected in some way.
Marta Faugstad, Bethany Lutheran College
Studying abroad took a lot of courage for me; leaving home behind to see the world can be scary. But seeing other countries, immersing myself in other cultures, and experiencing the sights, sounds, and feelings of the world helped me to mature and become a stronger person, and it was also the most fun I have ever had.
Michael Caulfield, Montclair State University
Studying abroad through ISA was the best choice I've made in my college career. The amount of support and resources ISA gives you during your time abroad really enhances the overall study abroad experience. I know for a fact without the ISA excursions I wouldn't have seen all the wonderful sites England has to offer on my own. Thank you ISA for leading me to create the memories of a lifetime!
Taylor Knudtson, University of Iowa
Going to Fiji was the best decision I've ever made in my life. I couldn't imagine my time abroad being anywhere else or enjoying it as much as I did in Fiji. I can't wait to come back to the pristine waters and land of Fiji!
Dana Bernardo, Rider University
If there are any students that are wanting to study abroad, you need to do it. It is once in a lifetime. I have grown so much from this experience and recommend it to everyone!
Lynae Hostrawser, Indiana State University
This was the most amazing experience of my life. Don't be afraid to try new things and visit new places. Visit as many islands as you can. Most of all get to know the locals. They can give you best advice on what places to visit and they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I promise you when it's over you won't want to come home. Vinaka!
Megan Shapiro, University of North Carolina, Wilmington
My time abroad has been the biggest eye opening experience I have had in my life thus far. It has inspired me to learn about other cultures, discover who I am as a person, meet new people from around the world, and spread the word to others about how valuable it is to go through an experience like this one especially with ISA. The staff and program have provided so much help and insight as I was applying, attending, and reflecting on this study abroad adventure. I now have high spirits of traveling the world and finding my place on this Earth, knowing that my journey has only just now begun.
Melanie Stokes, Eckerd College
ISA Lille was a great overall experience that allowed me to not only step out of my shell and experience a foreign land but to also meet others who wanted to share the experience with me. I think sharing my study abroad time here with others is really what made it worth the trip and I will be forever grateful for them for being here with me.
Elyse Hill, University of Maryland, Baltimore County
If you are wondering whether to invest the time and money enrolling in one of the ISA programs, I strongly suggest you do so. I was simply looking to get a break from my studies in the USA, but what I experienced here (in Lille, France) was beyond my predictions. In addition to developing a greater appreciation toward myself and other people, I feel more complete as an individual and now possess a deeper understanding of my place in the world.
Natalia Kazakova, Western Illinois University
This experience changed my life. ISA works to show you there is more to study abroad than just going to class and walking by beautiful buildings every day. The program takes you through many different aspects of culture in fun enriching activities.
Alec Miller, Arizona State University
Through ISA, I have lived in the city that stole my heart!! In two months that I have lived here, I have met students with whom I will be life long friends. I have worked with some of the best professors ever, and I have lived in a host family that truly made Paris feel like home. Merci Beaucoup, ISA!!!!
Kristen Cypret, Missouri State University
ISA had provided me with a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will be forever grateful for. Paris has become a second home to me, and the ISA staff has become family.
Leandra Armstrong, Lasell College
Studying abroad with ISA has changed my outlook on life. I'm far more open minded after being immersed in a completely different culture. I spent the best summer of my life in an amazing place and ISA made the transition as easy as possible
Regan Kirsch, Indiana University, Bloomington
My semester abroad fortified my passion of traveling and learning with an experience that not only educated me in history, language, and culture, but also taught me that strangers can be best friends, and unknown territory can be home.
Zana Karabatak, Ohio State University
I loved going through ISA. I have nothing but positive words and experiences with ISA and the people who helped me. I felt so well prepared to go to Berlin because of ISA.
Studying abroad in Germany was a great decision!
Emily Woessner, Florida State University
Taking part in an ISA Study-Abroad experience was integral to my personal and cultural development. Being immersed into a new language and way of life helped me to better understand my own culture, and provide the foundation for cultural exploration in the future.
Ethan Smith, Seattle University
I?m so glad that I choose ISA because I met some of my best friends in those first few days with ISA. With all the extra excursions I felt as though I was able to see a side of Greece that I otherwise would not have.
Emily Betthauser, Kansas State University
Being Indian, it was easy for me to adapt to the culture. I found Hyderabad to be an interesting culture. I did learn a lot more and am glad that I got in touch with my roots. I would recommend anyone and everyone to study abroad and to pick India! Filled with a lot of culture!
My experience at the University of Hyderabad was a positive experience that helped me grow personally and professionally. Studying abroad in India was a challenge, but I feel that because of this I am a more capable individual
ISA Hyderabad successfully opened my eyes and my heart to all that India has to offer. I was able to learn about the culture and customs first hand, travel to many parts of the country, and build life-long relationships with locals.
Audrey Rattay, Thiel College
Hyderabad changed me, there I said it. Coming to India and doing this program was daunting at first. But simply by being here I learned that being abroad isn't so hard. In fact I stayed after for a month to travel around India and southeast Asia. I would say coming to India with ISA has been one of the best choices I can recall making. The people I met and the experiences I had will be with me forever.
Gabe Fox, University of Nebraska, Lincoln
India was nothing like I expected. It was a rich blend of culture, spices, adventure, and friends that I will never forget.
Priyanka Surio, University of Miami
Studying with ISA was definitely the best decision I made when coming here. They take care of everything from registration to housing, which would be very difficult to do alone. The cultural excursions are great, and you really get a sense of the country's history and culture. Overall I could not have asked for a better experience while studying abroad with ISA.
Joseph Flynn, University of Massachusetts, Lowell
Studying abroad with ISA was hands down the best time of my life. I learned and experienced so much about myself, others, and other cultures. I learned to not let obstacles affect what I want to do, and how to really conquer my goals. I would do it again in a heartbeat- Dublin is my favorite place on earth.
Morgan Bourdreau, University of Massachusetts, Lowell
For me, studying abroad was something I had to do to prove to myself that I could do it. I was nervous to leave my friends and the bubble I had grown accustomed to. ISA made studying abroad so easy and less stressful than I imagined. I have made friends, tried new foods, and even explored a lot of Europe during my weekends. If I wasn't currently a graduating senior, I would definitely study abroad again with ISA.
Samantha Watkins, University of Idaho
My time in Ireland was the best 5 months of my entire life. My advice would be to try and find something to do every weekend. Go into the city as much as you can and simply explore. Just walk around with no real purpose. It makes you become much more independent and you'll find loads of cool, local stuff along the way.
Thomas O'Keefe, Widener University
My ISA experience in Galway was something I will never forget! I left a piece of my heart in Ireland and I'm sure I'll go back one day.
Brianna Tringali, University of Florida
Don't pick a city. You will experience way more of your country's culture picking a smaller location. I am extremely happy I picked Galway, it felt like a home away from home and I never questioned my safety.
Caroline Wincowski, The College of St. Rose
Do it. Working with Kayte O'Malley as your ISA advisor will be the greatest decision you've ever made in your life. Galway is dreamy and picturesque. It's like something straight out of a movie, and I wish the whole world could see its culture and quaintness.
Craig Jaffe, Seattle University
ISA was very timely with answering any questions I may have had and providing lots of information to prepare me for the study abroad experience. the on site specialist Kayte was an excellent resource and became our guide and friend and someone to ask questions to.
Jessica Tullius, University of Anchorage
I really enjoyed the ISA Galway experience because we were a small enough group of students to have great relationships with our directors. This made the whole experience easier.
McKinnley Witty, Colorado State University
If you have the opportunity to study abroad in Ireland do it! The culture and beauty of the country was what made my experience so amazing. Also if you plan to travel while abroad you are in a great location to see the rest of Europe. Slainte!
Sarah Curtin, Bridgewater State University
Studying abroad was an absolutely amazing experience and I wouldn't trade the world for my time abroad at the University of Limerick! I highly recommend leaving your comfort zone and trying out new activities and adventures that you normally wouldn't otherwise try!
Sarah Smaby, Michigan Technological University
My time in Florence was filled with beautiful views, delicious food (and gelato!), and impressive history and art. However, it would not have been as amazing as it was without my ISA friends, the amazing staff, and all the fun memories from excursions.
Katherine Gross, Vanderbilt University
Studying abroad was one of the best decisions I have made. It is such a learning experience living in another country that makes you appreciate everything else so much more.
Katie Sieverding, Arizona State University
Everyone that was in contact with ISA students was extremely helpful and readily available via email or phone. The ISA staff in country and at its base in Texas made me feel so comfortable and safe. Choosing ISA as my study abroad program was the best decision.
Kelly Cicchese, Emmanuel College
As many things do, my experience abroad has changed my life. I have become more grounded and independent as a person and have learned an incredible amount about myself because of this experience. Staying with a host family truly allowed me to fully immerse myself in what it means to live in another country. I wouldn't have changed this experience for the world! If you're going to do this, do it all the way. Stay with a host family. Try to learn the language. Try to understand the culture. You'll find that you will learn much not only about the people around you, but about yourself. You will be challenged in your beliefs and worldview and will be forced to find and be who you are. You will carry this experience with you forever!
Krista Heard, Texas A&M University
Keeping an open mind to the experience was the best thing I could do. I tried new things, met amazing people and best of all had the time of my life. Florence will always feel like home to me. Can't wait to go back!
Madison Asher, Xavier University
I was really nervous going abroad all by myself for 6 weeks in a country I had never been to before, it took a little bit of getting used to but ISA helped me find activities to do everyday and helped me find friendships that will last for a long time after I leave Italy. Even though it was tough being homesick at times this summer in Florence has been one of the best experiences of my life and I'm so happy I decided to do it.
Natalie Gaines, University of South Carolina
Overall I enjoyed my experience and I would recommend it to anyone. It was a way for me to become immersed in a new culture and really grow as a person. And to anyone who is interested in studying abroad I would say go for it and make use of every opportunity that is given to you while abroad. Stay busy, explore and step out of your comfort zone.
Raven Spencer, University of North Carolina at Wilmington
Do everything you ever wanted and prepare yourself to be amazed! You are limitless, and your ISA study abroad opportunity is just the platform from which you can extend beyond what you may have initially imagined for your time abroad. The world is incredible, but the people you meet and the experiences you share with one another are more valuable than any sight that you will see!
Gabriella Serventi, Seattle Pacific University
Studying abroad with ISA exceeded my expectations of having an enriching cultural experience. The ISA staff are absolutely amazing, engaged, and passionate about what they do. I will never forget this experience, and hope to continue my studies in Italian culture!
Elizabeth Amini, College of Charleston
Studying abroad allows you to experience situations that you would never get inside the U.S. and really helps you understand different cultures.
John Beasley, Oklahoma State University
Choosing ISA was one of my best decisions, which you don't realize until you're actually abroad. The Isa staff in the United States as well as in my host city were some of the most kind and generous mentors. I got sick while abroad and they showed so much compassion, by taking me to the doctor and helping me get my medicine, as well as keeping in touch to make sure I was ok, which can be difficult abroad. They made my time in Rome, Italy very worthwhile. When I look back on my time here, they will always be a huge part of why I had such a great time on my trip.
Maris Grantham, University of Alabama
The friends made, classes taken, trips throughout Italy, and the living among the Italian people made this trip culturally enriching, full of adventure, and overall a trip I will never forget.
Rachel Londeen, Kansas State University
The ISA Jordan program is fantastic. Mohammad will take you to eat life changing canafa and falafel on your first day in Jordan, and four months later you'll realize your life really has changed.
Elika Roohi, University of Alaska, Fairbanks
The ISA program in (Amman) provided me with opportunities that I never thought I would experience. The staff, trips, students and people I met made for an unforgettable experience!
Janna Ruedisale, San Diego State University
After studying abroad with ISA, I can not imagine studying abroad with another program because the ISA on-site staff were so helpful and enthusiastic. They are people who go above and beyond to include the students in their lives and to ensure that the students have a smooth transition into the local culture. My experience with ISA was phenomenal and I will recommend it to all future study abroad students that I meet.
Lydia Shippen, University of North Carolina, Wilmington
My experiences with (ISA) were unparalleled. The amount of language I acquired in such a short time was astonishing, and I am so fortunate for how much of the culture I got to experience firsthand.
Ryan Kolter, University of Wisconsin, Whitewater
Morocco is a wonderful place for many different kinds of people and I chose it because I wanted to experience life that was vastly different from the one I grew up in. Not necessarily in the sense of money or food but in culture and lifestyle. What I found here was a culture that I enjoyed and wanted to immerse myself in but also had issues that I fundamentally disagreed with. That was the most valuable part of my study abroad experience: learning that life can exist in many different ways, that there are problems in every society and that its important not to judge a culture from within the confines of your own.
Alexandra Loomis, University of Massachusetts, Amherst
I had a wonderful summer in Meknes with ISA: learned a lot of Arabic, drank a lot of tea, made many discoveries, and had an unforgettable experience.
Anne Lewis, University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa
I came to Morocco to have the adventure of a lifetime, and I will leave here not only having accomplished that, but with a whole new outlook on the culture, society, and mostly, myself.
Annie Cutler, Kansas State University
An experience like no other! Studying in Meknes was the BEST decision I could have made. The people I met and the places I visited will forever be with me!
Arilene Hernandez, University of Texas - El Paso
If you are interested in Arabic, Islamic Culture, and Good Food, hands down go to Morocco! This program is so great and I had a blast touring the country, speaking the language, and the overall immersion of the culture! One of the best decisions I have made!
Ben Lutz, Elon University
Learn, explore, grow. That is the Meknes way. Don't forget to Morockit like it's hot!
Sarah Little, Southeast Missouri State University
Adjusting to New Zealand was easier with ISA. The orientation, excursions, and meetings allowed me to speak my concerns and excitement with ease. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who's interested in studying abroad.
Jacklyn Jones, University of New Haven
Spontaneous fun I will never be able to replicate and will forever cherish. ISA helps when you need someone to lean on, and lets you go when you're ready to go on your own.
Jenna McDaniel, University of Idaho
Studying abroad has helped me grow immensely as a person and shown me a different way of looking at life. Along with the great friends and experiences that I've come across here, I'll go home with a different view on American culture because I now have something to compare it to."
Kyle Humphrey, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale
ISA provided me with a range of opportunities to explore the country of New Zealand as I grew as an individual. I was able to meet locals, learn in classes, and discover the city. Overall, this experience has been one I will cherish for the rest of my life. It has given me a greater perspective of the world, myself, and values I will maintain when I return home."
Madison Lohmann, Chapman University
The whale watching and train ride excursions were fantastic! These are things I never would have done on my own - I appreciate ISA for setting up these unique experiences!
Joseph Lawinger, Michigan Technological University
ISA really helped introduce me to New Zealand. The three days we spent in the North Island actually helped my understanding of the country way more than I thought it would. I think ISA is organised and worth working with if someone is going to study abroad.
Laurel Reiter, Muhlenberg College
So grateful for the chance to see how people outside my home country live and, interestingly, how they view where I'm from as well.
Lena Schneider, Muhlenberg College
Studying abroad has been one of the very best decisions of my life. The level of independence you gain is remarkable, and because of it, you really notice how mature and capable you are. And the people you meet are incredible. I have made some of the greatest friends while I have been here.
Matthew Bakich, University of Wisconsin, Whitewater
Be open to making friends outside of your everyday activities so you can meet the locals and see the country through their eyes.
Nicole Wehner, Michigan Technological University
I am so glad that I study abroad. New Zealand is a wonderful country, and honestly, I would move here if I could. If you have the chance to study abroad, definitely don't pass it up, and if you don't have the chance, you should try to make it happen for yourself because it is worth it. It is a life changing experience, and people actually mean that; they aren't just saying it. I am really happy with my decision, and I will definitely be going back to New Zealand soon.
Alana Murphy, South Dakota State
Studying abroad is the best thing I have ever done. Everyone always says that, but it is so true. I expected to change and grow and learn so much during my experience, but I severely underestimated how much I would do so. Traveling and experiencing the world really does change you for the better.
Allison Bauman, Tulane University
ISA gave me the tools necessary to thrive and explore in a stunning countr. Overall, studying abroad in New Zealand was everything I thought it would be. It allowed me to reinvent part of myself and see things in a new light.
Cassidy Priegel, Loyola Marymount University
Studying abroad was the best choice I made in college. It opened my eyes to a new way of living. ISA made the experience so much better because of the support and knowledge the program provided me. My leaders were great and coming to a foreign country with a group helped so much. I feel part of the ISA family!
Claudia Baker, Chapman University
I was very thankful to ISA throughout my study abroad experience. It made the transition into study abroad so much easier then it would have been doing it alone. There isn't much that comes to mind about improvements. My ISA coordinators did a really excellent job. The scariest part is the moment you're sitting on the plane and you realize you're about to spend a semester half way around the world from home. The rest will go by so fast you won't even realize it. So enjoy every second of it.
Devon Mensching, DePauw University
New Zealand and the Kiwis I've had the pleasure to meet have given me so much over the past semester. I am forever grateful, and I will carry what I learned with me for the rest of my life.
Erin Platt, Tulane University
ISA provided an amazing support network from the moment I decided to fill out a study abroad application up until my very last day in New Zealand. I could not imagine my study abroad experience without the warm laughs of my fellow ISA companions and our directors-Emily and Peren. I knew I had an extensive network that I could utilize if I needed anything from support to travel companions, and I could not imagine it any other way!
Kyra Scheiterlein, University of Colorado, Boulder
This experience was absolutely life-changing. It's truly something you have to experience yourself to understand the impact it has on your life. Just thinking about the last four months makes me laugh, cry, and wish I could do it all over again. Absolutely amazing and I am so lucky to have had the amazing ISA staff here to support me along the way. Thank you for everything! I am truly inspired to keep traveling and seeing the beauty the world has to offer.
Sarah Kahan, Chapman University
I am very glad I chose to study abroad through ISA. They provide some great resources and help make adjusting very easy. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. There are experiences and opportunities that I was able to have with ISA that I would not have had if I had student abroad independently. If you are even slightly considering studying abroad, do it! Studying abroad allows you to experience things in a more real and impactful way than if you were just traveling on your own. I would definitely recommend studying abroad through ISA. They provide great resources and excursions, have friendly and helpful staff, and help to make your study abroad experience the best that it can be.
Whitney Kirkpatrick, Berry College
ISA was such a great program because in a new city where nothing feels familiar, it's comforting to know you have people you can turn to ask questions and friends to hang out with. I met my two best friends here on our first day in New Zealand, before we even got to the university, and I know I wouldn't have met them if it hadn't been from ISA.
Zoie Hayes, University of San Diego
University of Waikato is an awesome opportunity to meet and learn about the Maori culture. Hamilton is an awesome location to see nearly everything from.
C. Gallegos, Miami University of Ohio
The University of Waikato has a lot to offer, it is in a nicely sized town and is very close to a lot of really great towns to visit. This Uni really motivates you to get out and travel. The classes were interesting, and the professors were very approachable. The student life is alive and well, and there are a number of great activities to get involved in.
M. Cech, University of Colorado, Boulder
The University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand offered a great range of courses to choose from which allowed me to take classes that would keep me on track when I returned to the U.S. The residence halls were an excellent way to meet Kiwis. At Waikato you feel as though you're actually from New Zealand and a member of the family. What a great way to spend a semester!
T. Ramirez, Chapman University
Despite how scary it might seem, go abroad. Just go. Once you're there, dive into your host city in every way that you can. Drink the coffee, talk to locals, take bus trips to unexpected places, buy the cheesy souvenirs, and learn from every single experience!
Christian Geldert, California Lutheran University
Studying abroad is a once in a lifetime opportunity that one should not be quick to dismiss. Not many people have the chance to explore, adventure, and enhance personal growth and worldly understanding while still continuing to develop their formal education. If there is even the slightest possibility that you would be able to study abroad, you should pursue it full force: you certainly will not regret it.
Brittany Janeczek, Endicott College
I felt at home here in New Zealand right way. The atmosphere, the people, the culture, the sheep are much more relaxed here than in the states. New Zealand has so much to offer yet still seems unvisited by many. It's like I found a diamond in the rough.
Cortland Jacoby, Elizabethtown College
New Zealand, and especially Wellington, is a magical place filled with bright, funny, and warm people who make the city come alive. And the ever changing scenery and art around the city makes the city a constant thriving canvas that always leaves you finding something new every day. It's truly an amazing place that draws you in and never leaves you.
Erin Reilly, University of Colorado, Boulder
Living in Wellington New Zealand was the best thing I have ever done.
Kirsten Wernert, Colorado State University
ISA is so helpful. If you have any questions, they answer them in seconds over the phone, and I never had to wait more than a half of an hour to get a response over email. This seriously is the most helpful team I've ever had the pleasure of communicating with.
Maggie Aldworth, Chapman University
My time abroad was one of the most extraordinary and life changing experiences of my life. I believe everyone deserves the chance to go abroad, to open their horizons, and to learn not only about another culture, but about themselves.
Rachel Wimmer, College of William and Mary
Choosing ISA was one of the best decisions I have made. The staff here is always so willing to help with anything, from helping with school issues to finding a place to go rafting. I loved my program and am thankful for the help ISA provided.
Gracie Coen, Oklahoma State University
Cusco has provided me with such an in depth experience - from food, history, customs, festivals, and beautiful views, I already know how much I will miss it when I return home. The local people are extremely helpful, nice, and willing to work with you on your Spanish. Overall, it was an amazing trip and I would highly recommend visiting Cusco and living in Peru for an extended amount of time - it is truly an incredible place.
Lauren Johnson, University of Wisconsin, Whitewater
Studying abroad in Cusco has opened my eyes and ultimately changed my life. I came here to be in the mountains and explore the wilderness, meet new people and friends, and become fluent in spanish- and that's exactly what I did. I had doubts when I first got here, but looking back, I am SO happy I came. Exploring Peru has become my most favorite experience, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Choosing to study abroad was without a doubt, the best decision I have ever made!
Maranda Bailo, Miami University of Ohio
In my time working with [the Policy and Human Rights Organization] I have learned not only about the wondrous culture that Peru has to boast and all the struggles that have accompanied it throughout the years, but also about myself. I have learned that I can communicate effectively in my second language. I have learned that I can work in Latin America and actually be an asset, not just a hindrance. And most importantly, that although I may not always know where I'm going, I'll always be going somewhere with the help of the great friendships and skills I've gained while volunteering in Peru.
Timothy Hofmeister, Grand Valley State University
ISA Service Learning in Lima is an extremely rewarding program that challenges you as a person forcing you to step out of your comfort zone and immerse into the culture and society of Peru.
Blaine Johnson, Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology
People aren't exaggerating when they say that studying abroad changes their life. It really does, and in a way that you cannot expect until it happens. I could not be happier with my choice to study abroad in Lima, Peru, with ISA! I'm already making plans to go back.
Emily Barton, Texas A&M University
Lima was a great decision! Not many people can say that in one month they traveled to one of the 7 wonders of the world, swam in the Amazon river, went fishing for piranhas, surfed the Lima coast, went paragliding with the ocean at their feet and learned to play the traditional Peruvian cajón... and I still had time to get A's in my classes...Amazing!
Laura Lieser, University of Texas, Arlington
Studying abroad with ISA in Lima has been one of the best decisions I've ever made! The ISA on-site staff here is amazing and very supportive. I highly recommend ISA and all of their study abroad programs, especially their programs in Peru.
Paige Tenneson, Colorado State University
Glasgow is an amazing city in a beautiful country! It's very easy to make friends here, and there are plenty of things to experience. I would highly recommend the International Society as it is a great way to meet other international students on campus as well as see many great places throughout Scotland. There are also many societies to join, so you are sure to find one that you like!
Danny Mannix, McKendree University
I had a wonderful experience with ISA - they were super helpful and made my time abroad amazingly easy and enjoyable.
Kylie McKenzie, Kansas State University
ISA opened the door to an opportunity of a lifetime!
Mina Raja, University of Massachusetts, Lowell
My experience with ISA was wonderful. The staff that helped me from the beginning to the end of my decision making process as well as my time abroad were excellent. I am so glad that I chose ISA to aid me in my abroad experience.
Katie Anderson, University of Dayton
I don't think I could have asked for a more unique and personal experience. ISA did the most out of any groups to give us a taste of everything Scotland. The bond I made with my fellow program members is something I'll cherish forever thanks to ISA.
Leah Tyler, Carroll College
Simply put, Scotland is amazing! My favourite part was a trip to the highlands. The natural landscape will take your breath away. If you can, stray away from the temptation of eating at a McDonalds, KFC, Subway, etc. Try local restaurants and new food. And most importantly, seize every opportunity that comes your way
Molly Snow, Northern Michigan University
I joined an ice hockey team and learned so much more by being around locals who weren't students. I quickly changed from a student visitor to someone who can call this country home. It could be something as simple as joining a traditional music session, or a theatre company, or local recreational sport, but break those comfort zones within the school so you can really immerse yourself with the locals and experience life the way they do.
Steven Lesko, Grand Valley State University
ISA is a smaller program which allows you to really get to know the other students involved and create great friendships! Living in Cape Town was the most amazing experience and I am very happy to have chosen to do it through ISA
Caroline Griswold, College of Charleston
I think studying abroad was the best choice I?ve ever made. I learned so much about South Africa and myself.
Courtney Souders, Towson University
Cape Town was the best experience of my life, having a small and closely knit group and an attentive ISA staff made my experience!
Haley Wodenshek, Trinity College
I loved every second of my experience and wouldn't have changed anything about this semester. It was truly the best five months of my life. I don't think I've ever gotten so close with such a large group of people so quickly. Everyone on our program become such fast friends and we had more fun than we could have imagined. The memories will last forever, but we are already excited for reunions and fantasizing about our returns to Cape Town.
Maggie Lenah, Trinity College
Studying abroad in Cape Town has been my favorite part of my undergraduate career. While study abroad might not be for everyone, I recommend anyone curious and willing to leave home for a few months to take the opportunity to go abroad with ISA. It will be the best decision you have ever made and you will not regret it. University of Cape Town is majestic and nestled in the valley of Devil's Peak, the views and sunsets will always leave you speechless.
Sally Dry, Virginia Tech
It was a great experience that I would not trade for anything in the world.
Will McEnvoy, Trinity College
While on a road trip to Durban, my friends and I met this guy who was WALKING the entire coast of South Africa, from the border of Namibia to the border of Mozambique, and there was one quote he said to us that really stuck out to me and summarizes my time in South Africa, "You will never be completely at home again. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place.
Hannah Greenhalgh, San Diego State University
Leave your expectations at home and let your experience shape you. Everything will turn out exactly the way it's supposed to.
Laura Archambault, University of Massachusetts
My study abroad experience was the experience of a lifetime, where I made life long friends and found a home away from home. I recommend it to any one who wants to see the world, learn about new cultures and become much more independent. I can't imagine my life if I hadn't studied abroad. It inspired me so much, and this is just the beginning of many adventures to come!
Nina Christenson, University of Massachusetts
Choosing a country to study abroad can be very difficult specially a country in which the language and culture is very different than yours. South Korea is a great place to study abroad and learn a new language and culture. ISA will help you throughout the process. You will never feel alone!
Carina Samano, University of Texas at El Paso
Studying abroad was the best decision I have made. I was a little hesitant at first since I would be traveling to a country where I didn't know the language, a place that was so far from home, and where I didn't know anyone. That hesitancy was replaced with excitement the moment my plane landed in Seoul. I could not believe that this amazing city was going to be my home for the semester and I could not wait until I had a chance to explore it. The other people in the program are some of the best friends a person could ask for, we promised to keep in touch, and I plan on having them in my life for the long run. Korea is such a wonderful country and I definitely am going to come back to create new memories that I will cherish. Studying abroad is something I will never regret. I will forever remember these memories, experiences, feelings, and irreplaceable friends.
Eleanor LaBarbera, California Lutheran University
I have grown as an artist and as a person. I learned to push myself, manage my time, and prioritize so that I'd make room in my schedule for friends and actually living during my time in Korea. I'd suggest packing lightly and valuing the time with the people you meet the most because, at the end of the program, you'll come to realize they're really what made your time in a new place special.
Katharine LeeHong, University of South Carolina
I found Seoul to be a great place to have fun and meet the nicest people. The country has so much history and their architecture accurately portrays it. It is breathtaking and so beautiful. The people here are so friendly once you get to know them.
Kayna Mendoza, University of Texas, El Paso
Studying abroad with ISA had been amazing for me. I made great friends and went awesome places. I will always consider ISA family!
Mia Prohaska, Pacific University
I would have to say that studying abroad in South Korea with ISA has been one of my best decision I have ever made in my entire life! I've made many good memories and befriended with so many amazing people here in Korea. I hope to cherish and carry all these amazing memories I have here in Korea with me for the rest of my life. There are not any good words to describe this life-changing experience. You just need to study abroad to experience it for yourself.
Ploua Chang, Mount Mary College
The words Barcelona, Spain will never have the same meaning again. To some, they are only the name of a city and country in Europe. To me: they represent the cliche quote of "the best time of my life". A time where I was able to break away from all the fears that kept me from my own personal growth. They perfectly embody the departure of my journey to becoming who I want to be in the future. A strong, independent, and well prepared student and professional. Barcelona has marked my life forever. Amo Barcelona! Amo a Espana! Vale tio!
Ana Flores, Our Lady of Lakes University
ISA was my doorway to maturity, if anyone has a chance to open that door as well, start knocking!!
Chanise Love, Grand Valley State
Studying abroad was one of the best decisions of my life, but I know that it would not have been near as fantastic if I had chosen a program other than ISA. From start to finish, every ISA staff member that I came in contact with was friendly, eager to help, and very knowledgeable. I loved the excursions, the price, the friends that I made, the classes, and the professors. I would recommend studying abroad with ISA to anyone and everyone.
Katie Hicks, Univeristy of Arkansas
Studying abroad in Barcelona was the best way to become not only more internationally aware, but also more cultured and independent. You only live once and you're only young once; take advantage of this opportunity and let it be the most rewarding part of your college experience!
Laura Weiss, University of California - San Diego
My experience abroad has changed my life for the better. I know that those were the best four months of my life, and now I can use this experience to make me grow even more as a person as I move on in life.
Nicoletta Shanos, University of Maine
Looking back on how amazing of an experience college has been thus far, this ISA experience abroad, even though it was only a short summer term, has shaped how I will look on my early twenties forever.
Patrick Clarke, Arizona State University
Studying abroad with ISA has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. My host family was phenomenal, the staff was extremely helpful, and the city was beautiful! I wish I could stay longer!
Allison Hoefener, The College of New Jersey
Bilbao is a great city that's a bit off-the-map and helps students see another side of Spain. The Basque country is a unique part of Spain that offers experiences other cities can't offer.
Armen Kagodorian, University of California, Irvine
ISA helped me along the way with whatever I needed, but also gave me enough space to develop myself and be independent. I couldn't have asked for much more in a study abroad program!
Cole Gabalis, University of Kentucky
A part of me will always be in Bilbao with the amazing people I met, beautiful sights I saw, and life changing moment that have made me who I am. I wish I could relive every single second a thousand times over again.
Elizabeth Hughes, Hamline University
Studying abroad was by far one of the greatest experiences of my life, ISA was there to make that experience all the better. They paired with an amazing host family and gave me the ability to explore one of the greatest cities in the world. I dont regret one minute of it.
Gabriella Carrethers, University of Denver
I loved studying abroad. Being away from home is very difficult but living in Europe provides access to the entire continent of Europe. There is always something to do or something to see that is loaded with history and culture. I feel that in my 4 months in Bilbao, I matured as a person and challenged myself by living out of my element and becoming accustomed to an entirely different culture.
Jeremy Pickett, University of California, Santa Barbara
My semester in Bilbao was amazing! It is such a unique city with so much to do. There is always something going on to get involved in.
Megan Walters, Flagler College
Bilbao is such a wonderful place. ISA, the locals, food, classes, professors, everything was absolutely amazing.
Mercedes Finstuen, South Dakota State University
The people you meet, the places you go, and the experiences you have in ISA are worth every penny you spend.
Stephen Lien, University of Nebraska, Lincoln
"Studying in Granada for a month vastly improved my Spanish and lent me a new perspective on the world that I usually don't see. It was one of the hardest things I've done, but also one of the most interesting and rewarding."
Abby Brownback, Kansas State University
"My experience in Spain was absolutely incredible. Never in my life have I been better able to integrate myself within a foreign culture. A piece of myself will forever belong to Andalucia."
Alexander Hernandez, Fairleigh Dickson University
Three months ago I was almost to scared to get on the plane, but thank goodness I did. My abroad experience has been the most rewarding experience of my life so far. I have learned to appreciate a beautiful new culture and its people while becoming more independent and confident in the process. I have never smiled more than I have during my three months in Spain, and I feel so lucky to have had this once in a lifetime opportunity!
Holly Dawson, University of Denver
Granada is an amazing place that you will come to love as soon as you get here. ISA makes living in this city easy by providing support like taking you to the doctor when you get sick, giving you a place (super close to school) to study and rest. The ISA directors are probably the nicest group of adults I've met in a formal school experience like this. They are awesome!
Isabel Klompus, Saint Mary's College of Maryland
The ISA program in Granada gave me an experience abroad that I will never forget. I am coming back to America a much more independent, culturally aware individual. I cannot explain how much I have grown in just two months of being abroad. I would highly recommend anyone that has the opportunity to travel with ISA. It's truly a life changing experience.
Jenna Daniel, University of Florida
Everyday was a new adventure. Everyday was another chance to make a friend, learn a word, find a place. In Granada, you would never know if something cool is around the corner until you walk around that corner and see it for yourself. And that is just what I did.
Kaza Komelski-Correa, Radford University
I could not have chosen a better program than ISA Granada. The staff was so invested in our experience and progress, the community was incredibly welcoming, and the city is absolutely stunning. I got to see so much of Spain and have a huge appreciation for learning the language and about the culture. It was so rewarding to have my Spanish improve at such a quick rate, to build relationships with locals of all ages, and to be a part of a Spanish family. I am now much more confident in my ability to follow up on new opportunities, and wherever they may take me in the world.
Olivia Meyer, James Madison University
"Not only did studying in Spain give me an authentic and exotic view of life outside the US, but also a clearer understanding on where I am and where I'd like to be."
Robert DuBois, University of Northern Colorado
¡Sonrie! ¡Estás en Granada! Granada is the perfect city to capture the culture of Spain. There's plenty to do from touring the Alhambra to taking advantage of the free tapas! Don't be afraid to get lost in the city, because when you do, you'll find a new adventure around every corner
Talitha Elbert, Concordia College
Studying abroad with ISA has been the best decision of my college experience. I expected to learn about the culture, and of course about Spanish in my classes, but I never could have guessed how much I would learn about myself in the process. The people I met, the places I visited, and the experiences I had were invaluable.
Abby Gould, University of South Carolina
Studying abroad was a perfect way to get to know many different cultures and gain a broader understanding about cultural differences. I would recommend students going abroad to keep an open mind about everything, to be aware of cultural differences, to research the places they will be visiting before their travels, and to take advantage of any opportunity to try new things.
Ana Ferrer, University of Michigan
ISA has provided me with so many opportunities to learn about Spain and the history and culture and a safe and comfortable place to communicate. I loved every minute in Spain and it wouldn't happen without them!
Emilie Lenz, Luther University
Studying abroad for an entire semester was the best thing I've ever done for myself. I can't begin to explain all of the ways that this experience has helped me grow as a person, both academically and emotionally. ISA Madrid is an incredible program with exceptional staff, and I would recommend this program to any students considering a semester abroad.
Tori McChesney, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville
ISA is an incredible program that offers students a great way to get to know their country of choice and engage in valuable experiences and relationships while doing so!
Adjoa Anim-Appiah, Albertson College of Idaho
Málaga, the overlooked gem of Spain, located centrally on the Southern tip, meaning you can travel virtually anywhere your heart desires. This city has an airport which offers very reasonable prices to travel throughout Europe. Málaga also has the best of both worlds: whether you prefer to hike or go to the beach, each offer breathtaking views along with great weather year-round. I have absolutely 0 regrets on choosing this location, upon arrival I realized it was and felt like home and since departing I feel as if I have left part of me there, but I am eager to return in the near future!
Amanda Jackman, Doane College
The ISA staff in Malaga is amazing. I had a great time just hanging out at the office and doing the activities with the rest of the ISA group. All the excursions were awesome.
Amelia Hodges, Kansas State University
Málaga was the perfect, beach-front location to study. It has an international airport, unlike most cities in Spain, which made traveling on the weekends very convenient.
Brianna Burris, Point Loma Nazarene University
I love ISA and the time I have spent here I will cherish for the rest of my life!
Brittany Carter, University of Maryland, Baltimore County
My time studying as an ISA student in Malaga were the best three months of my life. I was able to learn another way of life, gained the ability to communicate with other people in another language, traveled to multiple European countries, enjoyed countless adventures with new friends and learned so much about the world and myself in the process. I will be returning to the U.S. as a well traveled, culturally intelligent and more confident young man with an abundance of memories that I will cherish for years to come.
Charles Strand, Creighton University
ISA is a good program and has very good pricing. All programs include several excursions, which a lot of other programs do not offer. If you are going to study abroad in Spain, go to Malaga. I traveled to about 10 other cities around Spain and none of them topped Malaga. It is the most amazing city and I couldn't have picked a better location to study abroad.
Gretchen Hess, Universidad de Málaga
ISA provided an excellent opportunity to gain experience in another language and culture.
Jesse Ford, University of Idaho, Boise
The experience living away from my family and everything that I am accustomed to was scary but worthwhile because I grew as an adult and learned new things about myself. I was lucky enough to experience something that I would never have thought possible, a new culture from the one I know.
Jessica Garcia, Universidad de Málaga
I was able to practice my Spanish so much more because I lived with a family. They didn't speak English, so I was forced to use my Spanish, which I know greatly improved my Spanish skills.
Katlyn Nasseri, University of Louisville
This was the BEST experience of my life. I have made so many friends and memories. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience, and I have no regrets. Never say no to anything. Some of the things I was most unsure about ended up being my favorite memories. Enjoy all of your time because it flies by before you know it. As I'm sitting here writing this review I am tearing up at the thought of this wonderful experience coming to an end. I love Malaga and truly feel that I grew as a person and learned a lot about myself. I wish I could stay longer, but all good things must come to an end.
Nicole Kell, Shippensburg University
I expected my time in Spain to be great, but it really was truly unforgettable and I would recommend study abroad to anyone. It's something unexplainable that must be seen for oneself.
Courtney Thomas, Rowan University
ISA is a great program, with great on site help. All of the employees in Salamanca are extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Choosing ISA was the best decision I have made. The experiences I have gained are unforgettable.
Katie Danto, Grand Valley State University
I will never have an experience comparable to the four months I spent in Salamanca. I made friends who will stay in my life forever, met some of the most interesting people from all over the world, and gained more knowledge, independence, and compassion than I would have if I hadn't chosen to study abroad.
Paige Pierce, University of South Carolina
ISA Salamanca was a program that surpassed all of my expectations, not only with my home stay (I LOVED my home stay) and class, but with the program as a whole. This city blew me away and truly felt like home after my 8 week stay. This will not be last time in Salamanca and definitely not my last time with my new ISA and Salamanca family.
Scott VanLaningham, Seattle University
Working with ISA has been the easiest task by far. The amount of work and planning that goes on behind the scenes is incredible when you actually stop to think about it. As a student, I was taken care of in every aspect and this study abroad trip has been unforgettable.
Diane Frese, University of Kansas
The ISA program has been an amazing experience because it opened the door to my interest and curiousity about other cultures and individuals. This program has taught me that I want to continue traveling and learning in everyway possible.
Hannah Garrad, Missouri State University
My trip to Santander far surpassed my expectations. Over the last ten weeks, I've made some amazing memories while growing both personally and in my knowledge of the Spanish Culture.
Jace Jackson, University of Denver
It was a wonderful experience, I loved all the excursions and I made friends that I want to keep forever! It's hard to get back to normal and not think of all the things you learned and the place you lived for those months...I miss Spain immensely and I can't wait to be able to go back!
Vanessa Pedroni, Grand Valley State University

Victoria Tonan, University of Kentucky
It was not only a cultural experience, it was an experience I will never forget.
Adele Holloway, San Diego State

Alexa Foster, Arizona State University
ISA was an absolute perfect fit for me, everything from the directors to the activities planned. I would recommend this program to anyone studying abroad!
Alissa Persichetti, University of Pittsburgh
I would highly recommend ISA as a study abroad program. They were always very friendly and helpful, and they provided us with everything we needed during our time here. When I went to them for help they helped me. ISA has a wonderful study center with good resources. I was pleased with my decision to study abroad with ISA. I'll always remember this semester!! It was amazing!! Thank you ISA!
Annie Edkins, Transylvania University
Every day that I spent in Sevilla was a day that I spent growing as a person. The walks to school, the beautiful weather, the delicious tapas, the time with locals, and the time with my new friends all contributed to making me into a better person and I will never be the same as when I started.
Anthony Palmiscno, Seton Hill College
I am extremely satisfied with my choice of going abroad with ISA! They provided me with every resource I needed and more. There is an ample amount of detail before, during, and after the program about every aspect of being abroad to make you feel comfortable and productive while abroad. They help in providing local immersion and also tips and suggestions of places to if you decide to travel. The excursions are great and staff is ready and willing to help at all times. You won't be disappointed with ISA!
Carla Brooks, Old Dominion University
My experience met and surpassed my expectations. It was everything I hoped for it to be. The ISA staff did an excellent job of preparing us before we left as well as prepared us for what was to come day by day. The ISA staff in Seville felt more like friends that I could ask questions as opposed to advisers and I really liked that. They were very approachable and helpful with any question or situation we had. My advice would be to stay open to every experience and adventure. Just because you are unsure of a situation or aren't sure what is going to happen, doesn't mean it's bad.
Cheyenne Maddox, University of Kentucky
Study abroad changed my life, and myself, in so many ways. Opportunities I never imagined and some of the best people I'll ever meet came to me in Spain, and for that I will always be grateful.
Devinne Zadravec, University of Massachusetts at Amherst
Studying abroad in Sevilla with ISA was an experience of a lifetime. I still am in shock that it is already over. These past 4 months have been the best 4 months of my life and I am anxious to return. My heart and soul is in Sevilla.
Elizabeth O'Brien, Northern Michigan University
From the first encounter in the airport to the final meetings, ISA was the best choice in study abroad I could have ever made. I met amazing fellow students who quickly became family, it gave me the opportunity to learn in a comfortable environment, and provided me guidance as I settled into a new culture and a new way of life.
Jana Clark, University of Oklahoma
I came to Spain thinking I knew where I was going in life, that I knew myself inside and out, but Spain changed it all. It opened my eyes and left my life with endless possibilities and has made me striving to live the most amazing life I can.
Jessica Hartley, Texas Tech University
Studying abroad is always a great decision, but studying abroad with ISA was the best decision.
Jessica Snyder, University of Pittsburgh
If you take any advice from somebody you don't know, it should be go abroad. It's worth any challenges that you might need to overcome before going. It's even worth having to make up classes. Nothing compares to living in a foreign country for an entire semester. I have learned what it is like to be a foreigner and have matured so much in the process. Sign up now. But really. ISA makes going abroad affordable, easy, and fun! I promise it's the best program. I did my research and have lived it. Go!
Lindsay Kincaid, Carnegie Mellon University
Studying abroad was one of the best choices I have made and I would encourage everyone to do it! It has made me more independent, increased my confidence, fueled my love for travel, and has been an incredible experience overall. Some advice for future students would be to get an intercambio because it is a great way to improve your spanish and make a spanish friend. Also, put yourself out there! Do things you might not normally do, talk to locals, travel, and be adventurous!
Lydia Lipski, Grand Valley State University
Study abroad is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so embrace every minute. Go outside your comfort zone, and try new things. There is only so much you can learn about a culture in a classroom compared to having actually experienced it firsthand. Don't let it go to waste.
Mitchell Silverman, DU - University of Denver
Study abroad is a once in a lifetime experience that everyone should take. I've learned so much about myself and different cultures. You do things you never thought you could and make life long connections with people from all over the world. I would do this all again in a heartbeat.
Nina Askew, University of Northern Colorado
The more days that passed the more I came to realize that coming to Sevilla with ISA was absolutely the best decision! It was such an enriching experience that can not be compared to anything else I have ever done! I will always remember this perfect semester and this beautiful city that will always have a place in my heart. Thank you ISA for this opportunity!
Rita Khalaf, Arizona State University
Studying abroad is an experience that challenges one's perspective about world history and cultural diversity. Traveling is a humbling experience that helps one appreciate relationships with family, friends, professors, etc. Europe is a living museum. Be careful if you blink… You might miss something!
Stephanie Harron, Virginia Wesleyan College
Studying in Sevilla was the best experience I have ever had. I learned so much this semester culturally and academically and ISA did a great job of showing us the most important parts of studying abroad.
, Ramapo College of New Jersey
My experience abroad has shown me what it is to be completely happy. I have learned to appreciate life differently and to live my life in a way I did not know existed. If I did not study abroad, my idea of my future would not be as clear as it is now.
Andrea Fajardo, Montclair State University
ISA brought us together as a family in a foreign environment that we were eventually able to call home. Valencia, as well as the wonderful people I encountered while there, will be a part of me for the rest of my life.

Honestly, studying through ISA was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had a summer I will never forget with some truly remarkable people.
Nikki Schroeder, Eastern Washington University
If I could do this experience all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! Studying in Valencia, Spain was the best decision I have ever made in my life. It is the most amazing city in Spain to study in. If you are a person who wants to fully immerse themselves in the culture, as well as a person who loves the beach, parks, and being outside, Valencia is the place for you!
Rebecca Horton, University of North Carolina - Wilmington
The ISA office was invaluable resources for me while in Thailand. I was significantly less stressed because I knew I could receive help with anything and everything!
Aleina Tanabe, Regis University
I would not exchange this opportunity for anything in the world and it was by far the greatest time of my life! I can't wait to come back to Thailand and continue to practice my Thai language skills back home. Thailand will always have a special place in my heart.
Matt Weisman, California Lutheran University
