Jorden Pecher

Academic Affairs Representative in Austin, United States

Jorden's love for international travel and education began after her sophomore semester in Prague, Czech Republic. As a political science major at Colorado State University with the intent of practicing law, Jorden traveled to Prague to learn more about the parliamentary legal system. After Jorden came home from her experience, she had a completely different outlook on what she wanted to do with her life. The field of study abroad became her passion. From there, Jorden began to work as a peer advisor in the study abroad office and caught the travel bug once more. After constructing a 10 minute power point presentation for her parents on why she should study abroad again, she jumped on a plane to spend the spring semester of her Junior year in Sydney, Australia. The rest, as they say, was history. In addition to Jorden's two study abroad experiences, she has also been able to travel to Hungary, Poland, Austria, England, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Fiji, and New Zealand. When Jorden is not sharing her life changing experiences with students on college campuses, she loves to snowboard in the winter and wakeboard in the summer. As a University Relations Representative, Jorden hopes to gain a better perspective on the amazing countries and cities where ISA offers programs, as well as get students excited about their many opportunities abroad.
