ISA Advisors’ Workshops
We’ve recently restructured our Advisors’ Workshop. Moving forward, the workshop will be divided into two unique modules – ISA Workshop: Foundations (August 2-4, 2017, Austin, TX), and ISA Workshop: Beyond Foundations (January 11-12, 2018, Austin, TX).
Foundations will offer an introductory overview of ISA programs, advising resources, admissions process, and pre-departure resources. We will explore our on-site Bridging Cultures Program, the Discovery Model, and how to best utilize our Global Ambassador Program. Beyond Foundations will provide experienced education abroad professionals the opportunity to dive deeper into facilitated discussions on various topics, focusing on themes specific to their campus needs. Topics of this workshop may include course mapping and curriculum integration, an in-depth analysis of health and safety policies, and building a campus program portfolio.
