Application Deposit Reduction

As of March 7th, we have reduced our application deposit from $200 to $95 for all ISA divisions. This deposit continues to be applied towards the overall student program cost and is not an additional fee.

Starting this fall, the Business & Latin American Studies Courses with Locals program at the Universidad del Pacífico (UP) will no longer have a language requirement. Additionally, the UP has expanded their content courses instructed in English with locals, to include the following subjects: business, economics, and management.

The Intensive French Language September program at the Institut Catholique de Paris will resume this year. This program accommodates students at all language levels and allows them to earn 84 contact hours (5 U.S. semester credits).

Starting this fall, our Latin American Studies, Spanish Language & Courses with Locals program at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra will offer courses with international students taught in English, with subjects in Dominican culture, history and literature. This is an excellent program for Spanish and Latin American Studies majors who want to immerse themselves in Dominican culture, while simultaneously improving their Spanish language proficiency.

On May 1st, Nick Zappitelli moved into a new position with ISA as the Director of Student Outreach/Alumni Relations. In addition to working closely with University Relations, in his new role, Nick will oversee the Student Services advising team as well as ISA's Alumni Relations and Global Ambassador programs.

Veritas Abroad

Veritas Christian Study Abroad is pleased to announce the addition of two new program locations in Scotland: Glasgow and Stirling. Scotland program participants will have the opportunity to join local ministries that serve vulnerable, disadvantaged children and adults, provide support for refugees, and mentor marginalized youth through sports outreach.

Eric Anderson

Associate Vice President, Strategic Partnerships

 

ISA is pleased to announce the addition of Eric Anderson as Associate Vice President, Strategic Partnerships. Before joining ISA, Eric spent three years with Up with People as the Vice President for Admissions, nine years as Regional Director and Director of Institutional Relations at GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, and three years as Operations Manager for an Olympic youth camp in Coogee, Australia. He received his B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University. In his new position with ISA, Eric works with institutions in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, and Washington.
