Work with the development of a rural strategy for communities and district planning maps. Responsibilities could include: monitoring deadlines and progress of current projects, liaising with government authorities and research ways to help inform the plan and review for the potential of a development project. Architecture Business

Work across many divisions of architecture including civic, workplace design, community projects (libraries), public, healthcare, hospitality and residential. Assist with general administrative duties, design ideas, fabric selections and auditing. Join in on client presentations, site meetings, product launches and external design parties.

Structural and Civil Engineering

Intern will focus primarily on structural engineering, particularly seismic aspects, but also civil engineering related to land development. Tasks include both design and construction observation, with the participant focusing on a current project. Past projects include seismic assessments of existing buildings and developing logs of structural problems.

Working with hundreds of social service providers, these centers strive to help families by teaching skills required in order to find their own solutions. Work alongside staff to assist in organizing various support services for young people and their parents to help them build their foundation for a successful future. Interns will have the opportunity to gain experience in rural population research including the development and review of rural assessment tools, legislation on rural areas, parliamentary ans select committee meetings and aid with current issues regarding rural issues such as rural crime and policy, and general administrative duties.
