Participants may also accompany trained professionals on home visits and/or assist staff in coordinating and conducting health campaigns on such topics as nutrition, dengue and immunizations. Please note that participants' experiences may vary depending on interests, host organization, language level and education level. This placement is ideal for individuals in nursing or pre-med fields. Please contact the Service-Learning Costa Rica Program Manager if you are interested in a particular area of health care.
