English Language Institute
Serve as a Language partner and assist students with the development of English skills. Prepare lesson plans and other educational materials for class, lead classroom discussions, support full-time English professors, facilitate group discussions, correct student assignments, and help with pronunciation. Participants may also assist administrators in program development or research projects.
Spanish (Low Intermediate)
Coordinate various classroom activities, assist the head teacher and lead extracurricular activities at a school for very young children. There are two nursery school options, one for children up to 2 years old and another for children up to 4 years old. Teach basic English language to the older children and plan fun educational activities for them. Helping with material/supplies preparation for the educational activities (cutting, laminating), helping with art, feeding and playing time.
Technical High School
Work with students ages 14-18 in this high school dedicated to providing its students with the technical skills needed to be successful in the fields of gastronomy, food engineering, automotive technology, chemistry, and port operation. Participants will primarily work alongside English language teachers and assist with grammar, pronunciation, homework, lead tutorial sessions, and plan English language activities. Participants with significant work, volunteer, or education experience may participate in the technical classrooms. *This organization is closed from middle December to the first days on March (Summer vacation), also, the two first weeks in July (Winter Break).
Public Primary School
Assist teachers in English-language classrooms in an all girls public primary school in an urban community. Participants may have the opportunity to assist coaching the girl's soccer team and lead recreational activities. *This organization is closed from middle December to the first days on March (Summer vacation), also, the two first weeks in July (Winter Break).
