In Granada, ISA High School offers an intensive Spanish Language and Culture program at the Centro de Lenguas Modernas (CLM) of the University of Granada. Students attend classes in Spanish four hours daily, Monday through Friday. On the first day of class, students are administered a language level placement test by the university. Classes are taught by university professors and attended by U.S. and other international students; schedules are confirmed upon language level placement. Tutoring services are available at the ISA office and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. If necessary, class level changes may be made during the first few days of the academic program. Students must first inform the professor(s) and ISA resident director and staff of the desired change. Course descriptions are available below.
Students must have completed at least one year of high school Spanish or the equivalent and must demonstrate an acceptable overall academic record. Students must be at least 15 years of age by the program departure date. Students not meeting the eligibility requirements are encouraged to contact ISA High School to explore other options.
