Housing

In Granada, students will live with a homestay. This is the best way to increase language comprehension and experience the culture of the host country. In a homestay, three meals per day are included (except during weekend excursions) and laundry service is provided at least once a week. Two to three ISA-HS students are placed with each homestay, though there may be other foreign students living in the homestay as well. Please note that homestays are not always comprised of "traditional families," and can take the form of single parent households, widows, or adults without children. All homestays undergo extensive evaluation processes in order to assure student safety and comfort. Single rooms in homestays can be requested for an additional fee, and in some cases not every student is assigned a roommate. All living arrangements are within walking distance to the city center/university; however, in order to ensure that students are placed in safe areas, their walk may be 10-40 minutes (they may opt to take public transportation at their expense).
