Port Elizabeth, otherwise known as the "friendly city" or simply PE, is South Africa's fifth largest city. Life in PE generally revolves around the beach, where ocean sports rule: swimming, snorkeling, surfing, bodysurfing, windsurfing, jet skiing, fishing, boating, and scuba diving are all readily available. PE's Humewood Beach has achieved international Blue Flag status and the city is a nature lover's paradise, with beautiful parks, gardens, and a number of wildlife reserves in the area.
