This course is designed for students who have completed or tested out of a minimum of five semesters (or seven quarters) of college-level Spanish. However, students must take a placement exam to determine the course level into which they will be able to enroll.

Overview

4 horas semanales/2º año /anual. Facultad de Filosofía Historia y Letras
La época colonial. El romanticismo. La literatura gauchesca. La genración del '22. El movimiento "martinfierrista". Florida y Boedo. El sainete y el grotesco criollo. Tendencias actuales en la lírica, narrativa y teatro. La semana del '22: el modernismo.
