The Business, Hospitality, Design & Courses with Locals semester program is open to students at the advanced language level and offers Spanish language courses and a variety of courses with locals instructed in English and Spanish. Courses in English are primarily related to Business and Marketing while courses instructed in Spanish can be in a variety of disciplines, such as Design, Hospitality, Engineering, Business, and Social Sciences.

Please note that courses taken at the Argentine Institute of Gastronomy (IAG) require additional fees, and are located off UADE's campus.

Students enrolling in Spanish language courses will take a placement exam onsite to determine course eligibility.

Students must submit additional documents, including a letter of recommendation and a letter of intent along with their ISA application. Students wishing to enroll in content courses instructed in Spanish must submit the letter of intent written in Spanish. Semester + Semester Programs Available: Students may participate in the Spring + Fall OR the Fall + Spring sessions of this program by selecting their two semesters of interest when submitting the initial ISA online application. Students who select the Semester + Semester option for this program will receive a $1,500 discount. ISA support services, housing and insurance are not included during the interim period between sessions but may be added for an additional charge.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of four semesters (six quarters) of college-level Spanish.

Students must submit additional documents, including a letter of recommendation and a letter of intent along with their ISA application.
