SummerStudents may choose between the following Program Terms: Intensive Spanish Language - University of BelgranoThis program is designed for students at the beginning, intermediate, high intermediate and advanced levels of the Spanish language. Students will participate in courses offered at University of Belgrano's language department that focus on Spanish grammar, conversation, and culture. Students will be in class with Americans and other international students. All students must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Buenos Aires. The exam will indicate each student's language proficiency level, and will determine the course in which the student is eligible to enroll. Students who arrive in Argentina having completed less than one year of college-level Spanish will likely place into beginning level. Students who arrive in Argentine having completed one full year of college-level Spanish will likely place into the intermediate-level courses. Gap Year students are also eligible for this program. Back to Back OptionsAgriculture, Environmental Sciences & Spanish Language - University of Buenos AiresThis six week summer program is designed to offer a unique selection of courses in the field of agriculture and environmental sciences. These are tailor-made academic courses, taught by PhD professors in which morning classes are devoted to the study of particular science and environmental topics and afternoon courses are devoted to Spanish classes. Agriculture and environmental sciences courses are taught by host university faculty from the University of Buenos Aires- School of Agriculture. Spanish language for the Agriculture Professions courses will be taught by faculty from the Centro Universitario de Idiomas. All courses will appear on a single transcript from the University of Buenos Aires.
