This program is designed for students at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of the Spanish language. Upon arrival at the University of Belgrano, students will take a placement exam. The language courses offer a mixture of Spanish grammar, conversation, and culture. All classes are with American and other international students.

Students may add an Intensive Month to a Semester/Year program for a discounted price. Contact the ISA office for futher details! Please note that the Intensive Month program prices do not include airport pick-up, drop-off, or excursions.

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

For beginning, intermediate, and advanced level Spanish speakers.
Students must have a 2.5 GPA. All students must take a Spanish
language placement exam upon arrival in Buenos Aires. The exam
will indicate each student's language proficiency level, and will
determine the courses in which the student is eligible to enroll.
Students who arrive in Argentina having completed less than one
year of college-level Spanish will likely place into beginning level
courses. Students who arrive in Argentina having completed one
full year of college-level Spanish will likely place into the intermediate
level courses. Students who arrive in Argentina having
completed two years of college-level Spanish will likely place into
the advanced level courses.
