ISA students participating in the Summer 1 program will have the opportunity to explore the Australian Outback landscape through photography. Students will have the option to focus on traditional or digital photography. Students from all disciplines can take this unit and undertake a photographic journey through outback Australia and learn about the relationship between Australia's Aboriginal people and the landscape. Students will spend time in Melbourne, Mildura, and the Australian outback while developing both their digital and analogue photography skill, as well as undertake photography workshops and field trips led by local Aboriginal guides, and to top it off, get their work displayed in a gallery exhibition at the end of the program (and possibly sell it!)
