Academic Programs in Brussels

Students may choose from the following Academic Program options:

Academic Year

During the Academic Year program, students may choose four or five courses (each semester) from the course list on the Vesalius Web site. Students may enroll in liberal arts, foreign language and business classes in English. Students have the option of substituting one class for an internship class if they are accepted into an internship. This program is open to students of all language levels.

Semester / Trimester

During the semester, students may choose four or five classes from the Vesalius College Web site. Course options are extensive, offering courses in liberal arts, foreign languages and business. Internships are available. There is no language requirement for this program.


Students can participate in a summer session in Brussels where they can choose two courses to earn 90 hours of instruction. Internships are available. There is no language requirement, students must have a 2.7 gpa to participate in the program.


ISA Custom Programs are developed in partnership with U.S. universities to offer students unique course options. Cultural activities and excursions, program dates and duration, and academics vary by program. Studying abroad with U.S. university students and faculty fosters a cohesive group dynamic with additional support of ISA staff in the U.S. and abroad.
