The Culture, Portuguese Language & Economics program is open to all Portuguese proficiency levels. This program offers students international economics and cultural studies courses taught in English and Portuguese. Course topics include studies on ethnicity and society and international political economy. Students interested in focusing on Portuguese language should consider the Summer 2: Intensive Portuguese program.
All courses are taught at the Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina by local university professors. ISA students take classes alongside other ISA students.
Please note that a student visa is required for all ISA Brazil summer programs. Please reference the Student Visa & Embassy page for more information. Applying for a visa could require out of state travel.
