Valparaíso and Viña del MarSemester / TrimesterBusiness Courses in English and Courses with Chileans - Universidad Adolfo IbáñezStudents who possess a high-advanced level of Spanish language proficiency may choose to take up to 15 hours of courses with Chileans and courses in English. Students who are at the beginning or intermediate level may choose only from the elective courses for international students, which are taught in English, and the Spanish language classes. Students may choose to participate in the intensive language session before the start of this program. Students who would like an intensive Spanish language course before the semester begins will participate in the Fall/Spring 5 program. Students who are NOT interested in taking an intensive Spanish language course before the start of the semester program will participate in the Fall/Spring 4 program. ISA strongly recommends that students at the beginning or intermediate level participate in the Fall/Spring 5 program. EligibilityMinimum GPA Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50. Minimum Admissions Prerequisites *Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of one semester (two quarters) of college-level Spanish for the Fall/Spring 4 program. *There is no language pre-requisite for the Fall/Spring 5 program.
