The Courses with Locals in Multiple Disciplines program allows students at the advanced or higher Spanish proficiency level to enroll in courses with local Chilean students. Students can choose from a wide range of courses that fall under the host university's curriculum. Students who do not wish to enroll in at least one course with locals, will be required to switch to the Spanish Language & Latin American Studies program.
What is the difference between the A and B programs?
Please note that a student visa is required for all ISA Chile semester programs. Please reference the Student Visa & Embassy page for more information. Applying for a visa could require out of state travel.
Semester + Semester Programs Available: Students may participate in the Spring + Fall OR the Fall + Spring sessions of this program by selecting their two semesters of interest when submitting the initial ISA online application. For more information about this option, please contact your Chile Site Specialist.

Note: About pricing...
Students who select the Semester + Semester option for this program will receive a $1,500 discount. ISA support services, housing and insurance are not included during the interim period between sessions but may be added for an additional charge.
Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of four semesters (six quarters) of college-level Spanish.

Mission WorkISA's Veritas Christian Study Abroad division adds ministry service opportunities and spiritual support to existing ISA programs. Students interested in participating in missions while studying abroad must apply to a Veritas program (Visit veritasabroad.com to view program options). Veritas programs promote spiritual growth through the on-site support of a Mission Mentor as well as engaging academic and mission experiences.
