Spanish Language & Latin American Studies - Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso
The Spanish Language & Latin American Studies summer program is designed for students looking for an intensive and immersive language program. This program is open to students at the intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish proficiency. All courses are taught at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso by local university professors. ISA participants take classes alongside other international students.

Business Internship, Spanish Language & Latin American Studies - Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso
This short-term program is oriented towards international students with an advanced level of Spanish, who are interested in having an internship experience abroad. The program provides academic and cultural learning opportunities in order to develop intercultural understanding and leadership skills.
The available internship placements are with small business and entrepreneurs located in Valparaíso/ Viña del Mar. All students must fulfill 20 hours of work for 5 weeks at their designated placement; along with it there is a course taught at the University that will provide students with the necessary context and knowledge.
The program targets students in the following areas: Business Administration, Family Business Management, Small Business Management, Marketing, Tourism, Entrepreneurship and related programs.

Field Research in Education - Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso
The Field Research in Education program at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of Chile's public school system. The program contains a theoretical component in which students complete course work related to the public school sector in Chile. This course work is complemented by a practical component during which students complete a project in the public school community in high need areas.
This short-term program is oriented towards international students with an intermediate Spanish level or higher. Students participating in this program are required to take the Field Research course and practicum for a total of 4 semester credits/ 6 quarter credits. Students have the option of enrolling in an additonal Spanish or English course.
