Spanish Language & Latin American Studies -Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso
The Spanish Language & Latin American Studies summer program is designed for students looking for an intensive and immersive language program. This program is open to students at the intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish proficiency. All courses are taught at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso by local university professors. ISA participants take classes alongside other international students.
Summer + Summer Programs Available:
- Urban style campus right across from the ISA Valparaíso office.
- Students typically progress through one language level over the course of a summer session.
- Latin American Studies courses available in English!
Students may participate in the Summer 1 + Summer 2 sessions of this program by selecting their two summers of interest when submitting the initial ISA online aplication. For more information about this option, please contact your Chile Site Specialist
Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of two semesters (three quarters) of college-level Spanish.
Courses and course hours of instruction are subject to change.
Please note that there are no beginning level Spanish courses offered in this program.
Eligibility for courses may be subject to a placement exam and/or pre-requisites.
