Due to such a large population and land size, China has immense cultural and geographic diversity within its borders. Chinese history can be traced back thousands of years, making ancient China one of the world's oldest civilizations. The Chinese history and culture together attract students all over the world to study abroad in China.
ISA's China program allows students the ability to learn Mandarin Chinese, the world's most widely spoken language in one of the world's fastest growing economies. Students will be immersed linguistically while having the opportunity to experience Chinese culture first-hand.

Being one of the largest countries in the world, China has a varied climate, ranging from vast arid deserts to a mountainous subarctic north. China has the 3rd largest river in the world (The Yangtze) and the highest point on Earth (Mount Everest). There are beautiful sandy beaches and rolling green hills. Most areas of the country are temperate, experiencing all four seasons in moderation, and rainfall in most parts of the country is considerably less common than the countries neighboring China to the south.
