Participants in the ISA Shanghai program will have the unique opportunity to visit one of China's famous Water Villages, also known as the "Venices of the East". There are vast canals and a unique water culture among these cities in the Jiangsu province, and their proximity to Shanghai means that they are only a short train ride away! Students will be able to see the traditional houses that line the river and learn about the cities' historical significance, all while serenely floating through the town.
