Students participating in the Business & Chinese Language program in Shanghai will be able to take a diverse set of courses taught in English. The courses that are offered will cover subjects such as Business, Political Science, Economics and History. In addition, students will be required to enroll in a Mandarin language course if they have not previously taken at least two terms of Mandarin.

Courses are taught in English except for Chinese language courses which are available for students with a beginning or intermediate level of proficiency. Courses will be taught by local and international faculty.

Upon program completion, students will receive a transcript from East China Normal University.

Students participating in the Intensive Chinese Language program at East China Normal University will take a full course load of Mandarin language courses which will including speaking, reading, writing, and listening components. All language levels are available, from absolute beginner to advanced, and a placement exam will be given at the start of each semester.
