Students participating in the Business, Chinese Studies & Language program in Shanghai will be able to take a diverse set of courses taught in English. Students can select from a list of courses that includes topics such as business, political science, economics, and history. In addition, student can choose to enroll in a Chinese language course. Chinese language levels offered range from beginning to advance. Courses are taught by local and international faculty, and classmates will be ISA programmates, as well as other international students.

Upon program completion, students will receive a transcript from East China Normal University.

Semester + Semester Programs Available: Students may participate in the Spring + Fall OR the Fall +
Spring sessions of this program by selecting their two semesters of interest when submitting the initial ISA online application. For more information about this option, please contact your Shanghai Site Specialist.

Students who select the Semester + Semester option for this program will receive a $1,000
discount. ISA support services, housing and insurance are not included during the interim period
between sessions but may be added for an additional charge

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

East China Normal University will only admit non-Chinese citizens. Students who hold a passport from Mainland China (PRC) are not eligible for this program.
