Environmental Studies, Spanish Language & Courses with Locals is designed for students at the intermediate and advanced language levels. At the Universidad Latina - Heredia students will take a combination of intensive Spanish language courses and electives in English. Advanced and superior level students will also be able to take courses with Costa Ricans in a variety of interesting subject areas. These areas include but are not limited to Architecture, Psychology, Engineering, Hotel Management and Business Administration. Advanced and superior students may also opt to take Spanish-language courses and/or electives should scheduling permit. Courses are taken with local and international students. Students are placed into a language level according to the number of semesters/quarters of college-level Spanish they have previously taken.
Minimum GPA
Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of two semesters (three quarters) of college-level Spanish.
