The Spanish Language, Literature & Cuban Culture summer program is designed for students looking for an intensive and immersive language program. This program is open to students at all levels of Spanish proficiency. All courses are taught at the Universidad de las Artes and are instructed by local faculty. Classmates are ISA students.

  • Students typically progress through one language level over the course of a summer session.
  • Traditional style campus located in the Cubanacán neighborhood.

A charter roundtrip flight from Miami to Havana will carry an additional cost that will be billed to the student, not included in the program price.


Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

Students must be enrolled as a full-time degree-seeking student in a U.S. college or university.

Students must submit an official certificate of enrollment from their home institution in the U.S., a personal statement, a valid passport copy, and their remaining required application materials.

Enrollment is determined on a first come first serve basis and will accept no more than 25 students.
