Berlin (Semester/Year only)
With 3.4 million residents, Berlin is a city with rich history and cultural life that boasts 100+ art galleries, countless nightclubs and architecture to taunt the eyes. Completely devastated at the end of the War, Berlin has sprung back as a large, bustling mecca of young minds, flea markets, record shops and a diverse body of students and young professionals. Berlin is now avant-garde and home to varying artists and international students. ISA students will explore the city inside and out, visiting both parts of the city that was once divided into East and West Berlin, and learn about the Berlin Wall. During the excursion students will have time to spend on their own to visit one of the museums, galleries, visit the famous Berlin Zoo or ride the Autobahn to Checkpoint Charlie, the historic entrance between former East and West Germany.
