Academic Programs in Prague

Students may choose from the following Academic Program options:

Academic Year

During the Academic Year program, students may study History, Culture & Politics at Charles University or International Business and Economics at the University of Economics, Prague.

Students enrolled in the History, Culture & Politics program at Charles University can enroll in courses such as history, cinema, political science, business and art, among others. These courses are taught in English by host university faculty and are for ISA students only. Students are required to enroll in the Intensive Beginning Czech language course for the first two weeks of the Fall semester.

Students enrolled in the International Business & Economics program at the University of Economics, Prague (UEP) can enroll in courses such as global business, international relations, marketing, finance, and more. Courses are taught in English by host university faculty, with international students, and held at the main UEP campus in Prague 3. All students must enroll in Beginning Czech Language.

Semester / Trimester

During the semester program, students may study History, Culture & Politics at Charles University or International Business and Economics at the University of Economics, Prague.

Summer

During the summer program, students may study History & Culture at Charles University or International Business & Cultural Studies at the University of Economics, Prague.

Students enrolled at Charles University will take classes with other ISA students at the world-renowned Charles University. The school is located in downtown Prague near many shops, cultural centers, museums and popular city hangouts. Students may enroll in a variety of courses offered in English through the program at Charles University, such as history, cinema, gender relations and political science, among others. Students also have the opportunity to enroll in a Beginning Czech language and culture course during the summer session.

Students enrolled in the International Business & Cultural Studies program at the University of Economics, Prague (UEP) can select from courses that include business practicalities, marketing, history, and culture. Courses are taught in English by host university faculty, with international students, and held at the main UEP campus.
