TOURIST CARD

ISA students will enter the Dominican Republic as tourists and will need to purchase a tourist card for approximately US$10 upon arrival at the airport in the Dominican Republic. Please note that the tourist card must be paid for in U.S. currency. Before going through immigration and customs, students will be directed to the "casetas" where tourist cards are purchased. After the card is purchased, students will proceed to immigration services and customs to have their passports and luggage inspected. A tourist card is valid for 30 days.

STUDENT VISA

ISA nor the Pontifical Catholic University require students to obtain a student visa. Students who wish to apply for a student visa may do so on-site. The ISA resident director in Santiago can assist students with the visa application, but students are individually responsible for seeking the necessary information and completing visa procedures. Students will be responsible for extra costs incurred during this process.
