Housing Information

ISA Housing provides the opportunity for students to experience aspects of the British lifestyle that are inaccessible to the average visitor of England. All dorms and non-university housing are either within a quick walking distance to the university or are conveniently located near public transit routes relative to the university. Travel times to the university vary, but generally range between 20 to 35 minutes. The experience of living in another culture will be both educational and rewarding so long as you stay open-minded and reasonable at all times. There are many differences in culture and lifestyle between life in England and the U.S. Remember: the key to a positive experience is flexibility. With this in mind, you can become a true Brit!

Dorms:

ISA students live in residence halls with British and other international students. The University of Westminster, King's College London, Roehampton University, Goldsmiths and Queen Mary dorms are located throughout the city, either on an acedmic campus or near public transit. Neither the student or ISA has control over which dorm you are assigned to by the host university. University of Westminster students who choose 2 or more Media, Arts, and Design courses will be automatically housed in the Harrow Hall dormitory located on the University of Westminster Harrow campus located in Zone 4.

Students living in the dorm will either have a single or shared room. They will share bathroom and kitchen facilities with 5-8 other students as well as a coin operated laundry room located within or near the dorm. Each residence hall includes additional facilities such as music, study and game rooms. The option to purchase a bedding pack is available for each session during the semester and summer. Each residence hall is equipped with DSL or wireless internet access. Meals and laundry service are not included.

A $750 refundable security deposit will be charged to students living in ISA arranged housing. ISA may retain some, or all, of this deposit in the case of damage to property, or if utility usage exceeds the allotted monthly amount.
