The Liberal Arts & Business program at Newcastle University has a vast list of course offerings to select from enabling students to opportunity to enroll in courses that fit their individual academic needs. It also provides you the opportunity to study along side British and international students as you enroll in academics that bring about a global reputation for excellence.
All modules (courses) offered by the following academic faculties are classified as part of the Liberal Arts & Business program: Architecture, Planning and Landscape; Arts and Cultures; Newcastle University Business School; Education, Communication and Language Sciences; English Literature, Language and Linguistics; Geography, Politics and Sociology; Historical Studies; Modern Languages; Newcastle Law School.
Courses are taught in English by host university professors and are held on the Newcastle University campus.

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.00.
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
All applicants are required to submit an academic letter of recommendation, personal statement and color copy of their passport photo pages to supplement their application.
Students must have at least sophomore standing (second-year)at their home university
Students are required to obtain a British Tier 4 Visa if studying for an academic year.
Courses and course hours of instruction are subject to change.
Eligibility for courses may be subject to a placement exam and/or pre-requisites.
Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
