ISA Housing provides the opportunity for students to experience aspects of the British student lifestyle that are inaccessible to the average visitor of England. The experience of living in another culture will be both educational and rewarding so long as you stay open-minded and reasonable at all times. There are differences in culture and lifestyle between life in England and the U.S. Remember: the key to a positive experience is flexibility. With this in mind, you can become a true Brit!
ISA students live in residence halls with British and other international students. The arranged dorm-style accommodation is on or very near the campus and includes a cafeteria-style meal plan. Students will receive a weekly stipened loaded directly to their campus card which for most students is approximately fourteen meals per week. Students can purchase food with their campus card at seven different outlets across campus.
Most rooms are single bedrooms with shared bathrooms. Each hall has facilities such as a common room, laundry room & small kitchen to prepare drinks and simple meals. Shops, a bank, a post office, and a bus route are all within walking distance as well.
A $500 refundable housing deposit will be charged to students living in the ISA Reading Dorms.
Students may opt to secure housing independently. Students who select this option receive a discount equal to the housing portion of the program price.
