The first time students enter the UK they MUST show proof of a round trip ticket. You WILL NOT be eligible for the student visitor visa if: **IF YOU FIT ALL OF THE CRITERIA ABOVE FOR THE STUDENT VISITOR VISA, YOU WILL RECEIVE THIS STUDENT VISITOR VISA ONCE YOU ARRIVE IN THE U.K. AFTER SHOWING YOUR IMMIGRATION LETTER AND ROUNDTRIP TICKET.** TIER 4 (General) STUDENT VISA (requires prior entry clearance)- As of December 3, 2007 students will be required to submit 'biometric' information as part of their visa application process. The required biometric information consists of digital scans of all 10 fingers and a full-face digital photograph. Applicants will be required to submit biometric information at visa application support centers located across the United States. While the actual process will take no more than five minutes to complete, students will need to plan accordingly for appointments and travel to the visa application support centers.
