Night at the Opéra

Location: France

Students tour the Palais Garnier for a back-stage look at the famed opera house. Designed and built during the Second French Empire, the Palais Garnier is known for its unusual underground, a subterranean lake that was home to the "Phantom of the Opera." Students learn first-hand about the opera's history, architecture, ballets and operas. Following the visit, students have the opportunity to attend a performance in Paris. Performances differ depending on schedule and can include a concert, play, ballet or opera.
