This program offers students the opportunity to hone their French language abilities by exclusively taking French courses for the duration of a summer term at the. The program is available to students from all language backgrounds, from the true beginning (débutant) to the superior (supérieur) language levels. Through a pre-departure online placement exam, students will be placed into the most appropriate French language course to foster their linguistic growth. Four specific language competencies are targeted over the course of the program:
Classes are comprised of international students from every corner of the world, providing students with unique perspectives and environments from which to learn. All courses are taught in French by host university faculty at the Institut Catholique de Paris in its Institut de Langue et de Culture Française (ILCF).

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
There is no language prerequisite for this program.
To participate in this program, students must be 18 years of age or older.
Courses and course hours of instruction are subject to change.
Eligibility for courses may be subject to a placement exam and/or pre-requisites.
Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
