Academic Programs in Berlin

Students may choose from the following Academic Program options:

Academic Year

An ISA Berlin year program allows students to select courses from a wide variety of fields of study allowing their study abroad experience to fit their individual academic needs. ISA Berlin year programs are conducted through Freie Universität Berlin with courses taught in English and German by local and visiting faculty. ISA students will enroll in courses along side international students.

Semester / Trimester

An ISA Berlin semester program allows students to select courses from a wide variety of fields of study allowing their study abroad experience to fit their individual academic needs. ISA Berlin semester programs are conducted through Freie Universität Berlin with courses taught in English and German by local and visiting faculty. ISA students will enroll in courses along side international students.

Summer

An ISA Berlin summer program offers students a comprehensive introduction to German culture, language, literature, history and politics. ISA Berlin summer programs are conducted through Freie Universität Berlin with courses taught in English and German by local and visiting faculty. ISA students will enroll in courses along side international students.

J-Term

An ISA Berlin J-Term program offers students a comprehensive introduction to German language and European Studies. This intensive track is well-suited for those students needing to complete prerequisites in order to register for more advanced courses, and for those who wish to advance their language skills.

ISA Berlin J-Term programs are conducted through Freie Universität Berlin with courses taught in English and German by local and visiting faculty. ISA students will enroll in courses along side international students.

Back To Back

Students have the option of enrolling in Back-to-Back Berlin summer programs.
