ISA housing provides the opportunity for students to experience aspects of the Indian lifestyle that are inaccessible to the average visitor to India. All ISA housing options are located on campus with convenient access to public transit routes.
The experience of living in another culture will be both educational and rewarding so long as you stay open-minded and reasonable at all times. There are differences in culture and lifestyle between India and the U.S. Remember: the key to a positive experience is flexibility. With this in mind, you can become a true Hyderabadi!
Tagore International House
Participants on this program will stay in the University of Hyderabad's Tagore International House, a new on-campus dormitory specifically for international students. All rooms are air conditioned and have shared bathrooms. In addition to a community dining hall, students will also have access to laundry facilities and a computer room with internet access. As participants will be living on-campus, they will have direct interaction with Indian students outside of the classroom, providing them with an opportunity to increase their cultural competency and practice their language skills.
