The Humanities & Social Sciences program is offered through Trinity College Dublin (TCD). This program offers courses from one of TCD's faculties: the Faculty Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. Popular subject areas include English, History, and Irish Studies. Of particular note is TCD's tutoring program which pairs each international student up with a local Irish student.

If students take one or more Nursing & Natural Sciences courses, they will automatically be placed into the Nursing & Natural Sciences program.

Fall 1A or Year 1A will take a 3-week long course called Understanding Ireland worth 5 ECTS credits prior to the Fall semester.

Courses are taught by TCD faculty and ISA students enroll directly with local and international students. All courses are taught in English.

*If you choose to enroll in 1 or more courses from the Faculty of Engineering, Mathematics and Science and the Faculty of Health Sciences you will be required to pay an additional fee. Please speak with the Ireland Program Manager immediately for more information.
