The bus station in Galway is a short walk from the town center. Ireland's rail company, , also provides a fantastic service for those who wish to travel during their stay in Galway. Like the bus station, the rail station is within walking distance from Galway's town center.
Galway Airport is located just outside the city and acts as a launching pad for domestic flights. International flights leave from both (1 ½ hours from Galway by bus) and (3 ½ hours from Galway by bus).
