Students may choose between the following Program Terms:

Liberal Arts, Business & Law - National University of Ireland, Galway

The ISA programs at National University of Ireland, Galway offer students a wide variety of courses in many fields of study, including the arts, business and law. While students in this program take a majority of their courses from the College of Arts, Social Science and Celtic Studies, or from the College of Business, Public Policy and Law, they may also select 1 course from the Science & Engineering program at no additional charge.

Courses are taught by NUI, Galway faculty and ISA students enroll directly with local and international students.

Students must include with the standard ISA application:
- A letter of recommendation from an academic source. The letter must be signed and written on university letterhead.
- A letter of intent.
- A list of two academic references (name, title and contact information of a professor, TA or advisor).

Students are required to take 20-30 ECTS credits per semester. NUI Galway recommends that 5 ECTS credits be considered equivalent to 2.5 or 3 semester credits (3.75 or 4.5 quarter units). Students are strongly encouraged to consult with their home university regarding the transfer of ECTS credits.

Please note that a $750 housing deposit is required for this program, and is due by the Final Forms and Payment Deadline.

Science & Engineering - National University of Ireland, Galway

The Science & Engineering programs at National University of Ireland, Galway offer students a wide variety of courses in many fields of study, including Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & Ocean Sciences, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mathematics. While students in this program take a majority of their courses from the College of Engineering and Informatics or from the College of Science, they may also select 1 or 2 courses from the Liberal Arts, Business & Law program at no additional charge.

All Courses are taught by NUI, Galway faculty and ISA students enroll directly with local and international students.
