J-Term

Arts, Business & Italian Language -Florence University of the Arts and Apicius International School of Hospitality

The J-Term (January Term) program is designed for students wanting to complete an Arts, Business or Language course in an intensive 3-week format. This program can be taken as a precursor to a semester program or as an individual program.

This program is well-suited for those students needing to complete a pre-requisite in order to register for a more advanced course during the following session, or for those who wish to advance their language skills.

Courses are taught in English except for Italian language courses which are available for students with a beginning through advanced level of proficiency. Courses will be taught by local and international faculty. Classmates are international students, the majority of whom are North American.

Upon program completion, students will receive a transcript issued directly from the Florence University of the Arts (FUA). Beginning Fall 2012, students requiring a U.S. transcript will have the option to request a supplemental transcript from the University of South Florida (USF), who serves as the U.S. School of Record for ISA programs held at the FUA/APICIUS. For more information on this option, please contact ISA.

Please note that the J-Term program price does not include airport pick-up, drop-off, or excursions.
