ISA office, the AUR, and housing neighborhoods

The ISA office, located less than a block from the AUR, is located in Trastevere. Trastevere is named for its position on the Tiber River, just south of the Vatican City. It is well-known for having retained its narrow, winding streets when the rest of Rome began its nineteenth-century expansion.

All of the program's apartments are located in the adjacent areas of Trastevere, Monteverde, and Gianicolense, all desirable residential neighborhoods. These three neighborhoods are located west of the heart of central Rome. Compared to other parts of Rome, these areas have less noise and traffic, more green areas, better access to public transport, and are conveniently located just a short distance from the historic center of Rome.

Apartments are fully furnished and include a fully equipped kitchen, a computer with internet access, a landline telephone, and a washing machine. A $750 refundable housing deposit will be charged to students living in Rome apartments.
