Students may choose between the following Program Terms:
This program is open to students from all majors, including those who wish to study Arabic. All levels of language are taught at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, including absolute beginner courses. Students who have not completed 2 semesters or 3 quarters of college-level Arabic or the equivalent must choose language as one of their courses. There are many courses taught in English to accommodate students from a wide range of majors, all of which will be taken with Jordanian students.
The Jordanian government requires an HIV antibody test at an official Jordanian clinic for all individuals seeking to extend the initial 30-day visa granted at the airport. The ISA Amman staff will assist students throughout this process.
A $400 refundable security deposit will be charged to students living in ISA arranged housing. ISA may retain some, or all, of this deposit in the case of damage to property, or if utility usage exceeds the allotted monthly amount.

This program is open to students from all majors. Al-Ahliyya Amman University offers ISA students beginning and intermediate level Modern Standard Arabic courses. Students who have not completed 2 semesters or 3 quarters of college-level Arabic or the equivalent must choose language as one of their courses. Content courses include social science, humanities, and fine arts courses related to the Middle East which will give students an understanding of Jordan specifically and the region more generally.
