Introduction
The course will highlight the most important facts and processes along almost five centuries of history. The course will focus on the evolution of the main social and ethnic groups (indigenous and European) that inhabited Mexico. We will finish the course analyzing the ethnic participation in the Zapatist movement after 1994 and how the Mexican politics, economy and government have changed since then.
