XalapaSemester / Trimester:Spanish Language and CultureWinter 1 2010 (Early Feb, 2010 to Late May, 2010) Travel Depart from the US. You should be at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours prior to your flight departure time. Arrive in Veracruz. Early February Excursion Students will begin the program with an orientation/excursion in Veracruz. Students will depart on the 8th for Xalapa. Early February - Early February Orientation Orientation, register for classes, and oral placement exam at the EEE. Early February Classes Regular classes at the University of Veracruz (EEE). All weekends are free except those of the ISA excursions. Early February - Late May Classes Last day of classes/finals. Late May Travel Return to the U.S. or independent travel. Late May Holidays Holiday Anniversary of the Constitution Early February Holiday Carnaval Mid February - Late February Holiday Holy Week and Easter (Semana Santa) Early April - Mid April Holiday Labor Day Early May Holiday Cinco de Mayo/Battle of Puebla.
