Orientation Information

The program will begin with a multi-day orientation/excursion in the city of Veracruz.  Upon arrival in Veracruz, students will meet the resident director and the other ISA students.  The tour in Veracruz will provide them with a brief introduction to Xalapa's history as well as cultural orientation covering topics such as life in Xalapa, what to expect with regards to host families, taking classes at the University of Veracruz, and adjusting to life in Mexico.  At the end of the excursion, students will then travel to Xalapa, where they will meet their host family.
