Prior to their departure and on-site orientation, students will receive a lengthy and detailed pre-departure online orientation which serves as a primer for their study abroad experience in Morocco. The online orientation covers academics, culture, gender relations, useful phrases, food, housing, the university, ISA facilities, money matters, visas and numerous other details that students also learn about during their on-site orientation. Of course, students are always welcome to contact their Morocco Site Specialist with any questions.

In Marrakech, students and Resident Directors will take two days to explore the incredible sites of Marrakech, including the lively and bustling Jemaa el-Fna plaza. Making their way towards Meknes, students will spend the night in the Atlas mountains and have the opportunity to visit the captivating waterfalls of Ouzoud high in the Atlas mountains before making their way to Meknes.
After arrival in Meknes, ISA Resident Staff provide students with additional information regarding health and safety, housing accommodations, academics, the Meknes Study Center, and adjustment to life as an international student in Morocco.
