Courses with Locals in Multiple Disciplines -Queen's University Belfast

During the ISA semester programs at the Queen's University Belfast, students will have a wide variety of course offerings to select from enabling students to enroll in courses that fit their individual academic needs. All courses are taught at Queen's University by local university professors. ISA participants will take classes alongside Irish, British and other international students.

Students must include a signed letter of recommendation of letterhead from an academic resource and a letter of intent with their standard ISA application.

Students are required to take exactly 60 units per semester. Per Queen's University, classes worth 20 units are considered equivalent to 5 semester credits or 7.5 quarter units. Students are strongly encouraged to consult with their home university regarding the transfer of Queen's University units.

Students may enroll in any undergraduate level courses except for Education, Medicine and Dentistry courses. Some departments may be restricted to majors or to students with previous study in the subject.

A $600 refundable security deposit will be charged to students living in ISA arranged housing. ISA may retain some, or all, of this deposit in the case of damage to property, or if utility usage exceeds the allotted monthly amount.
