Orientation Information

You will be greeted upon arrival at the Jorge Chavez International airport in Lima by the ISA resident staff. From there you will meet your classmates and participate in an excursion in the city of Lima as well as an ISA orientation and take your placement exam (if taking a Spanish language course or a course taught in Spanish). During the orientation, you will gain an understanding of Peruvian culture and history, and learn what to expect from daily life as an international student in Peru. You will then fly as a group to Cusco and participate in an orientation and city tour designed to show you the distinct neighborhoods, plazas, and architecture of Cusco. The thorough orientation includes information about academics, health and safety, housing, transportation, and money.
