The Latin American Studies and Economics program is designed for advanced students who would like to take a variety of courses with Peruvian students. There are numerous courses to choose from and the university specializes in business and economics. The UP recently added one or two Humanities courses in English for international students. All classes are taken at the University of the Pacific with Peruvian and international students.
Students may enroll in the Spring 3, Fall 3, or Year 3 program that includes an additional 3-week intensive Spanish language course before the start of the semester.

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75.
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of five semesters (7-8 quarters) of college-level language.
